"Another year over. And a new one just begun"

Can you believe it? The year ...

... is upon us!

Seems the older I get the faster time flies. I hope you each feel young at heart.

Whether you ...

and make a mess ...

Or just spend it quietly.

I hope the light around you shines ...

... and shines ...

Keep your heart and mind open and you're never alone...

Nurture the child in you and there will always be ...

Remember that any day is the perfect day to start anew.

I wish for you all good things in 2009 and always.

Happy New Year! I was just whining, er, telling Husband how my old office on the 22nd fl of Four Times Sq looked right smack at the ball drop and had I been there today (I am home on vacation) I could have taken pix of the test lighting. If only.

Happy Happy Healthy New Year to you and all you family and fur babies too. Thank you for your wise words and animal love and friendship.

Kiddo...too many new starts and you never get past go but beyond that, my personal sentiment, I do pray you find the tools necessary for you to continue to prosper in aspects of life. May the coming grandchild be a blessing above blessings and may your life continue to stand for what's good in the world.

Great Joy and peace be upon you.

As always, you come through with such a great, sparkling, sweet and sentimental too, post! The past year was really a great one for me the day I found your blog.
Tonight, I almost missed the entrance of the New Year having fallen asleep around 8 p.m. in the recliner. Amazingly enough, I woke up to the strains of Auld Lang Syne playing in Times Square and just managed to see the tail end of the ball dropping! After that, it was business as usual -wide awake, Kurtis up bouncing around too from about 1 a.m. until 5 a.m.! Sheesh! Was beginning to wonder if he was EVER gonna crash and burn, ya know!
Now, I have my pork and kraut in the slow cooker, doing its thing, so it will be all cooked and ready for an early meal as my son has to leave to go to work around 3 p.m.
Hope you have a very Happy New Year and may it be filled with a whole hell of a lot of good health too this year! No more reruns and casts and junk like that, OKAY?
Happy New Year, kiddo!
Peace.

I love old the two old B&W photos from the 50s (it appears.)

It looked soooo cold out there in Times Square last night - felt like 2 degrees , they said. Glad I was home.
