Loved your slide show - no effort to viewing it either was a bonus plus the humor of your quips on each picture brought lots of smiles to me. I loved the watering can "last call" and the "bloomless idiot" too! Oh heck, Dianne, they're all darned good shots and titles -you can feel your personality and sense of humor not just creeping but flying through.

that's great CG - that's when photography is great - when it really pulls you in - you just made me feel so good!

something tells me we'd create quite the ruckus round here if we all did get together Jay. You'd be in charge of the video ;)

thanks Jeni - that makes me happy, I'm so glad you enjoyed the show

Do you think I'll be lucky enough to wake up in the morning and have all the snow melted?

The sun shining, the birds singing?

Yeah, I doubt it too! But your pictures were wonderful!

I love the photos and commentary. What a great way to look forward to summer.

My mom lives in the Hudson Valley, NY and she was home early from work with all of the snowfall. Brrr.

It won't happen that fast Leighann! Right now we're going through the melt and then re-freeze stage which is just awful. Black ice on the drive, horrible ugly piles of dirty snow from the plows and yellow snow brought to us by the dog across the road, she just loves to pee on my lawn - I think it's a compliment

snoopmurph - Hudson Valley got almost a foot I think. It's much rougher up there than by me. We're always referred to as "warmer and less snow near the coast" - while the folks up there hear "higher amounts north and west of the city"

It's really beautiful up there though - I have friends in Brewster and the drive up is long but beautiful.

I forgot to thank you for the slide show. Nice shots. I especially like the umbrella for some reason.... and the green grass. It's white here. I think we had about six inches yesterday. Sigh.

We got about the same amount of snow Raven - I like the umbrella shot too - something about the angle and the sunlight. I took about 20 shots under the umbrella and that was really the only one I liked.
