Camera Critters - Hanging Out and Blending In

I’m back in Camera Critters this week. If you’d like to see other photos of all sorts of critters – check it out HERE.

Misty started this several weeks ago and I’m really hoping to get back into participating every Sunday. It’s always great fun to share photos so check it out.

This is ‘Sleeves’. He’s my neighbor. When his humans go away for the weekend I look after him. One of his favorite places to hang out is his big brother’s bed. As you can see – big bro loves the stuffed critters and Sleeves enjoys them too.

This reminds me of one of my favorite scenes from the movie ‘ET’ – when ET tries to hide by blending in with the stuffed animals in the closet. The finding each other and screaming scene between ET and little Drew Barrymore is delightful.

And that reminds me of a great scene from ‘My Cousin Vinny’ when Joe Pesci tells Marisa Tomei to tone it down – she needs to fit in with the small town folk and she sneers at him and says – “Yeah, and you blend”.

thanks ratmammy!!

mygoodfinds - thanks for visiting me too! sleeves loves to cuddle.

tammy - before I knew this was one of his favorite places I freaked out looking for him. he loves messing with me - he never came when I called or even when I shook the food bowl. it was like we were playing hide and seek - and he won!

sandpiper - awww thanks!

thanks shannon - I really loved your photos too :)

kim - he is a big ole cuddly, cutie, comfy kind of guy :)

swordmama - isn't it amazing and wonderful how we never forget all the loves of our lives. Willy must have been a beauty
My Cousin Vinny killed me - and it's even funnier to people like me who came from Brooklyn.

lol Cats always seem to find the coziest places to snuggle up. These are adorable.

I love My Cousin Vinny and that scene cracks me up.

My puppy Shiloh is convinced he is a BIG MAN, so he always stands tall and proud (and usually noisily.)

Have a good week.

Oh, Dianne - I'm late as usual in getting here! I love ET. It's on my top ten movie list! I of course have a photo of one of my kids amid a collection of stuffies...who, after watching that movie, could resist it?

These are adorable cat pics!

Peace,
Pagan

you've referenced two of my favorite movies...and your 100th post was such a brilliant and strong tribute to women {and a few dudes}...

i'm a fan.

Too cute! And a quote from one of my favorite movies! I might have to dig it out again-Michael posted about it awhile back and I ended up putting it on. :)

dianne: You made me laugh all over again with "My Cousin Vinny" in that crushed velour tuxedo in Court with the line: "Now, with regard to the two yutes (youths)". That slays me!!! :D) I love Cats too! At a local puppy adoption place I stop in at, there's a beautiful big Cat who sleeps on a seat at the front door to greet people who come in. He loves everyone. I thought about a Cat, but I'm leaning toward a Maltese Rescue place. :)

Personally I like cats best when they live somewhere else. Right outside a rat hole is good, or wayyyyyyyy up the street. Anywhere at all but in my bed!

A Georgia wheel balance. Oh yeah had a few of those.

Peace

Cute kitty. I wonder if he likes to "talk" to all those stuffed animals!

Dianne said...

smalltown rn - glad you liked the photos. I enjoy animal sitting, so many more opportunities to be around critters.

pagan - my son was/is a horror when it comes to photos, he resists and twists and turns. Virtually every photo I have of him is candid.

thank you sheen!

indrani - sometimes I think stuffed friends are all we need. just a quiet cuddle :)

vic grace - oh I love cats! and yes - he did think I couldn't find him and for awhile he was right

gattina - he is very friendly! Rosie is such a great name. :)

karey m - wow, thank you so much!!

snoopmurph - I watched it right after Michael mentioned it and then again after I dug up these photos. It is a classic

Michael - ahhh yes the "yutes" LOL
Maltese are wonderful little dogs. I sometimes sit two of them and they're very sweet and loving. The bark is a bit shrill but that's OK. I'll have to post some pics of my matese friends.

mark - outside a rat hole!? Lord!! somebody took a grumpy pill :)

thanks zoey

diane m - it is one of my favorites, just so sweet and such fun and a happy ending. glad I made you smile :)

rambling round - sleeves doesn't talk much but who knows what happens when he and his friends are alone :)
