Election Day Post #8 - Good For You North Carolina!

Kay Hagen has defeated Elizabeth Dole!!

by a wide margin!!!

Come January there will NOT be a Dole or a Bush in elected office in this country. Now that is progress.

My hearfelt congrats to Ms Hagen - who took an incredible amount of abuse and character assasination from the rabid witch that is Elizabeth Dole.

It occured to me that not everyone knows about what happened in this race. Campbell explains it best.

I'm went and hid for a while and now that I'm back they are calling Pennsylvania for Obama. Yippee! Good for NC on the Dole issue. She deserved to be beaten given how she campaigned.

raven - I know!!
Dole has been a waste her entire career. she looks proper and professional but she is nothing more than a political accessory who landed a good gig. her behavior lately is downright disgusting.

Back from work. Took in a little election coverage on the TV and now I'm surfing a few blogs.

Usually when we say an end of an era, it's a sad moment in history. This would NOT be one of those times.

Be back later

jeff - have you seen the t-shirts that say 'end of an error' ;)
we were talking about you before, about how the way your state votes is so convenient and civilized.

It is pretty darned convenient. About a month before the election the ballot arrives in the mail. You can fill it out at you leisure and either put a stamp on it and drop it in the mail, or drop it off at in one of several official ballot drop sites.

No muss, no fuss

I love it!

Peace - D

I've never seen anything as shameful as Elizabeth Dole running that ad calling her opponent "Godless" and having some women imitate Hagen's voice screaming "There is no God!"

That was unfreakingbelievable.
