Hey Youse Guys ...

I'm still a mess but I wanted to take a moment to say thanks to everyone who commented. I especially appreciated all the home remedies. One word of caution - never try to flush out your sinuses after drinking heavily - it ain't pretty. OY!

Normally I answer each and every comment - I really enjoy doing that but I have the concentration span of a gnat right now and I need my brain cells to try and finish work that is due - overdue actually.

I hope things get back to abnormal soon. I miss our lively discussions.

Have a great weekend everyone. I love youse all.

Hope you get your work accomplished and that your sinuses start to be merciful soon. You are missed.

Glad to hear that you're feeling better but sorry to hear that feeling better leads to catching up with stuff and not the chance to just relax and enjoy it for a bit!

I think when your sick everything else should disappear and for good.
catch up causes stress and stress leads to more sickness.

I'm amazed you're doing anything at all. When I'm sick I don't want to have anything to do with people.
Just get well.

Hey, happy day after bloggiversary. I'm glad you are feeling better. My son G had to have sinus surgeries when he was a toddler, it was so awful. He'd bang his head a lot, but we weren't so smart and did that thing called "listening to the doctor that we're exaggerating" for almost a year. Finally it took my friend who has 11 children to tell me that this is NOT normal behaviour and you need to change doctors, see a specialist or DO SOMETHING. She taught me not to take crap from people who happen to have MD behind their names.

If this keeps up and you feel like banging your head, I'd encourage you to do the same. MANY hugs to you. Poor G felt much, much better after all the surgeries were over. He has not had a sinus infection since, and he's almost 14.

PS. Your last post made you look like Bart Simpson. Don't have a cow, dude.

Glad to hear you are feeling better .. do not let this fool you into doing too much too soon . sinusitis is nasty and can play dead and then do a Carrie on you .. keep drinking the chicken soup with the hot sauce and you will keep feeling better .. I wish I had a remedy for overdue deadlines

Just don't overdo it and cause a relapse. Rest and take care, then come back strong for the end of the year.

hope you are feeling better soon. Sinus infections really suck. I used to get them all the time but luckily haven't had one in a couple of years.

Dear Dianne,

Now is the time to be kindest to yourself my friend...

Your beautiful heart gives so much...

Always speaking for the hurting, the oppressed, the voiceless...

Always pouring out your love onto these pages to share freely with all those who pass by here...

So now is the time to surround yourself in softness,

to breathe in your own power, your own dignity...

To rest deeply and without apology...

Because you are worth far more than you know...

Sending you my deepest love dear friend,

Maithri
