Some Sunday Reading

If you’re in the mood for some good reading I have two recommendations …

My friend LISA from ‘down dah pawkway’ posted a two part article about Cats. It’s very funny and for all of you who are owned by cats you’ll be nodding your head in agreement as you read.

The sexy and intelligent teacher of the century and Bailey’s best buddy JAY posted a link to a great place to check out the incoming cabinet. Simple, clear and easy to follow – just like government should be.

Take a moment to check them out.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Thanks for the info! I'll send the one about cats to my daughter, Robyn, whose latest kitties were featured on my blog a couple of posts back. They are so darling! And I'm interested to learn about the cabinet. You always have the good stuff, Dianne! Thanks!

Oh nice info re: the Cabinet. Many thanks!

I refuse to read the cat story as I know it will increase my desire to have a cat of my very own possibly to the point where the simple fact that neither my boyfriend nor my room mate would be anywhere close to happy about such an addition would be able to deter me,

/sniff

Happy Sunday!

Hi Dianne!
I am finally back, but have so much catching up to do. I plan to start reading much of what I have missed during my time off.

I just wanted you to know I have a little something at my blog for you.

Hugs,
Kimmie

Ahhhh yes...Dear Dear Cats....LOL!
Quite Wonderful!
Did you ever read "THE SILENT MEOW" by Paul Gallico? Well, it is actually his translation of a manuscript he found on his doorstep many many years ago, which seemed to have ben written 'in code'. When he finally figured out it had been typed by a Cat...He "translated" it....It is a delightful book with pictures!
These instructions kind of reminded me of this wonderful book!
Woryh a look-see....!

A VERY VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR, MY DEAR DIANNE.....MAY 2009 BE A VERY HEALTHY, HAPPY, AND PROSPEROUS YEAR FOR YOU AND YOURS, FILLED WITH JOYOUS CREATIVITY!

Sorry. I’m a little behind. Not to be confused with having a little behind. (which I don’t.)

I read Siren’s story for the first time. Took one look at the handsome birthday boy and am filled with hope. Amazing. What unconditional blankets of love, faith and protection can do to soothe the wounded heart.

Memories of being left and being hurt never go away. But we can begin to write new stories. Lay down fresh tracks in the snow.

Would like you to know how much I appreciate your wry humor and fierce compassion, your slow cooked wisdom and bawdy banter.
Feeling Nana’s presence today.

Happy New Year, Dianne.
