My First Album

A sinus thing sidelined me this weekend.

I have so much to catch up on.

I did manage to cut my first album with my new band.

Here's the album cover ...

The band is Loch Ossian and our first album is called To Deny Our Nothingness

Loch Ossian is a very narrow and remote loch in Scotland. It is home to a popular youth hostel, hence the band name. Aye - the stories I could tell.

My wonderfully creative and lovely friend ROB inspired this first album. If you'd like to have an album of your own just follow these directions

1. BAND NAME: Go to "wikipedia." Hit "random article" or click HERE The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2. ALBUM TITLE: Go to "Random quotations"or click HERE The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

3. COVER ART: Go to flickr, click "explore the last seven days" or click HERE The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

UPDATE: When I checked my link to Rob I was greeted with a photo of the most adorable dog. Please do go over and check her out - she is in a shelter on LI, NY and needs a home.

LOL Oh, my goodness I was reading this over and over trying to figure out which instrument you played!!!

awwwww. she is sooo cute! I wish I could take them all. :( There's so many great animal lovers out there, I'm sure she'll find a good home... at least I hope so.

Good job, I bet you get a Grammy ... and bless Rob's heart, he and BritGalSarah and several others picked up the Lil'Bit poster from me and I got it from my sister ....

Gosh you lucked out on that album cover, it's beautiful. And great backstory. :)

DARN! My daughter just got BACK from Long Island yesterday!

I did that album thing a few days ago... on my family FB. It actually came out pretty funny. The band name ended up being Queen Elizabeth Walk - and the picture that came up was a bunch of ducks waddling!!! ROFL! I forget what the song title was...

Thanks, that was fun! Nain is open for bookings in the Central Iowa area.

Ach, but it does sound like a loverly name fer a band! Too bad 'tisn't real!

Hope you feel better and that the sinus infection is strictly a thing of the past. Those can be nasty!

This is one of the very creative ideas making the rounds and has given me something to chew on for a possible future blog post(s).

This sounds like a fun thing to do....I always wonder who thinks these things up...lol!

Hope your sinuses get better very very quickly...That is a drag on one's whole system, I know.

Oh, I can relate! The sinuses have been giving me a fit, too. I got this same one from Rob, too isn't he the greatest? I plan on doing it this week. He does come up with some good stuff doesn't he? Do hope you're feeling better quickly. Have a good week.

What a great name for a band! And I love the album title! Well done. I actually made a real CD (I called it Love Tones) when I was in AZ. About 7 people have copies of it, which is 7 too many.

Raven said...

Oh - glad your sinuses are feeling better!

Nellie said...

Well, heck, I'm glad to know that I wasn't the only one that took "two reads" to figure this whole thing out! Great way to tell about it.

Sounds like fun, so I'm going to try to do it too.

Sure hope you get feeling better soon. I think we all need a good dose of sunshine!!!

What a wonderful album cover. I was taken in too. I think I might have to do this, it looks like a lot of fun.

When your nose is stuffed up, hum, the vibrations you set up will loosen the congestion and you will be able to breathe again.

Yeah, I am full of esoteric advise ;)

Oh what a cool album pic and the band and album names are da bomb!
Check it out Dawg, you rock baby! (with appologies to Randy)

Oh bugger, sinus things are awful. Fab OH also suffers so I know too well how you suffer. I hope it clears soon. Hugs and sympathy.

Also, thanks for mentioning Lil'bit. Too kind.

I am struggling today and was utterly confused by the first couple paragraphs. You are too clever, my dear. What a funny exercise though! I love stuff like that.
