Pet Pride: Mia and Siren Talk Baby

Hi everyone! Mia and Siren here ...

We have gotten together to discuss one of the few things we have in common.

The infiltrator ...

We are perplexed by this creature but the persons all seem fascinated. There was all kinds of hoopla going on Friday because it has been here for 3 months now.

We don't get it.

It has no fur.

When you set it down somewhere it just stays there ...

Siren: Well it does look as confused as you do Mia, maybe it's old and feeble and they feel sorry for it.

Mia: Cheap shot Siren! We agreed to get along. It spends a lot of time burrowing into spots and looking deceptively innocent. Sound familiar?

Hey look! We're boring it ...

Well at least it's being quiet. It makes these sounds. Oh my! The sounds. We thought it might have it's tail caught in a blender but it has no tail.

We don't get it.

Mom person calls it Hope - and sweetie, cutie, honey, lollipop, bubs, mush face and on and on. No wonder ...

We don't get it.

Further investigation is needed. For now it seems as perplexed by us as we are by it.

We're going to sleep now. And we have a binky thing too Hope (if that's even your real name) ...

Stop by PET PRIDE and visit all our wonderful friends. They have fur and everything!

Hope is getting so big! She's adorable, Dianne. :) And I'm sure the cats are just as thrilled with her as you all are. Well, maybe not. LOL!

Oh just wait.. she'll coo at you one day and you'll both be so smitten. How could you not, you silly felines?

Hope.. what a beauty!

Wow, those were all beautiful shots of the baby and the cats! I’d imagine house pets are pretty curious and a little perturbed when babies come calling. They wouldn’t be sure of the hierarchy anymore. It’s funny because our male cat is submissive to me, but dominant over my wife. Probably because my wife is usually the one to feed him, he thinks he’s superior. It’s a funny dynamic. Really beautiful baby!

Great job Dianne!

Hi Everyone! That first picture of Siren and Mia is priceless. I love his round attentive eyes. and the look on Mia's face made me laugh.

Hope is sooo beautiful and getting so big. Wait until she starts crawling. What will Siren and Mia think then? Oh the conversation they will have then. Lisa

Mia, Siren, just ignore that creature or it might try to chew on your tails!

Hope is so beautiful, she's getting big! xo

Hey guys! Just wait until she starts moving around. Then, she might find you VERY interesting. It'll probably be a while longer before get to like her. In the meantime, get ready for drooly kisses. ;)

LOL, LOL....Very Funny you guys...! But HOPE, and yes that is her name, is really adorable! Of course both of you are too, just in a different sort of way.....You'll see, you will come to love her like ALL the persons do---in time! Sometimes it just takes a little time to get used to these small bundles---And by the way, she is growing fast...Pretty soon, she will be a lot bigger!
Take Heart. She will love you both. I know. xxxx "Sweetie"

I love this post, Dianne. Mia and Siren have the best conversations.

And that infiltrator is so sweet and adorable, even if she doesn't have any fur.

I'm so glad I saw this. I needed a smile this afternoon. Rough week!
