I wrote this post late last night, before another quake hit Haiti.
It seems even more necessary now.
I was visiting BOBBIE’S blog this morning and saw a reference to a post from PAZ about helping Haiti through an organization called SHELTER BOX. I clicked over and then, to be brutally honest, I glazed over from all the desperation and pain and need.
Just now I was reading a tune post at LINDA’S and for the first time ever decided to click over to the host of the tune project. What popped open? A wonderfully detailed post about Shelter Box. What it is. How it works. How it helps.
And how we can make it happen.
You can read the post at DURWARD DISCUSSION – on her sidebar there is a link to a group of her friends who have gotten together to donate a shelter box for Haiti.
Or you can visit SHELTER BOX directly.
OK universe – I got past my glazed over period.
There is power in the blogging community and I am grateful to be able to pass on information.
