How Do You Get To Carnegie Hall? ...

... practice, practice, practice.

and it helps if you start early.

welcome to my recital, I've been warming up ...

I need a moment to ponder my songbook ...

making the right selection is crucial ...

positioning of the hands is also vital ...

and we begin ...

didn't they say all cell phones off? ...

apology accepted ...

la la la la la, dada, dada, dada - is this thing on?

that's better! sing along, sing along ...

one hand! ...

two hands and a mouth! ...

the power of the music knocks me out! ...

these are the hands of an artist ...

I'll be here all week, tip the waitresses and try the cherrios

Wonderful photos. I love the close up of her chubby little hands. I love baby hands. She is a beautiful baby.

LOL.. that "cell phones off" photo is just incredible. Somehow, I imagine she learned that look from her Nana...

A prodigy among us!

Linda said...

Indeed you have a budding virtuoso on your hands! And we'll all be able to say that we knew her when!

Such a cutie! She looks like a little diva in the making. We have a play mat like that, it's what saves Deuce's head when he crashes. I wish we could cover our house in it, lol.

applause...applause...applause!!

You GO, Hope!

OMG, Dianne...this was SOOOOOOO precious. No, it was BEYOND precious!

I HOWLED when I read...

..."didn't I say cell phones off?"

Because it's so true. I remember a time while I was still doing theater and the assholes who would not only have their cell phones go off, but then have the BALLS to sit there and TALK while I was singing!!!!!

The NERVE!

HA!

Listen, the second Hope gets her dates for Carnegie Hall...I'm there!

Thanks for sharing another heart-warming post, dear lady.

X ya's

She is the cutest little bundle of Hope ever! My daughter loved to play with stuff that made ‘music’ as well. For hours and hours and hours……

Do you ever have a hard time getting so many photos up? Maybe I should try blogger. Wordpress has been a pain in the ass with images lately.

Your photo stories about Hope are so marvelous and the images too precious for words. Sorry I've not been by for a while ... I'm chagrinned to discover that when I switched over from storyteller to happily retired gal, somehow your links got left off ... and now I'm wondering who ELSE got left off my newly created 'reader' ... guess I'll be doing some checking in a while.

It's good to catch up here today. I'll try to do the same at 'Forks' sometime soon. I'm so sorry about Mia ... glad to meet the Newbie Isadora am relieved to know Siren's adjusting to the changes. Hope you're doing well too.

Life's been way too busy for ME lately and I seem to be behind on everything, but I'm doing what I can to take things one at a time without getting stressed out ... making sure I eat plenty of dessert.
Hugs and blessings,
