Ya Just Can't Get Good Help These Days

I've been doing some paperwork in my living room, my back has been bothering me and it's more comfortable than the basement office.

Siren and Isadora are eager to help ...

Iza (her rap name) sniffs for illegal substances. Unfortunately there was none ...

Communication appears to be an issue ...

Siren grows weary of it all ...

Iza makes sure the papers are secure ...

Just out of the picture, below the sofa, is Siren's head. He's about to be smacked by the one my son thinks is an angel. In Brooklyn we called this union negotiations ...

Siren leaves in a huff. Rumor has it BP tried to recruit him but he declined in support of animals everywhere. He was terribly over qualified for the position anyway ...

Cats can be so entertaining, especially the way you tell it. Almost makes me want to own one again.

I always enjoy it when you do these pictures of your cats.

I wish I had a cat family, too! We have only one (husband set a 1 cat limit) but more than 1 is so entertaining. I'm jealous!

I think I like Isadora best! She seems to get things taken care of... HER way. I admire that :-)

I am so not getting this whole BP thing. It just boggles my mind, the size of this disaster.

Toddlers and cats love boxes more than anything else in the world.

Great shots as always!

Sitting on papers and in boxes - what's that all about? Cats are so entertaining and great company. Life would be so dull without my two.

I love it when you weave a story round photos of your kitties. :)

Cats are my most favorite creatures. I have been owned by several over the years.

Corporate cats. Getting bidness done.

And, Siren is ... a little dramatic. LOL ;-)

Glad to see that Siren and Iz are helping out around the house. My two enjoy helping whenever they can . . . well, whenever they can get in the way, that is!

linda r - I'm glad you like the stories :)
you can always adopt one to sit in that lovely garden with you :)

linda - thanks, I try to entertain :)

mrs d - Isadora is pure chaos!! and I love it
although poor Siren is sometimes overwhelmed by her endless motion - he is almost 10, she's barely 2

kay - and they both say thanks!!!

mrs c - because people and animals and nature are low low low priorities in our society
I could keep going until I filled this box to infinity with what is so wrong about this entire situation

scott - so true ;)
Hope loves wrapping paper so much more than the gifts inside

rob - I can't imagine life without them :)

akelamalu - coming from a storyteller as good as you that is such a compliment :)

DJan - owned is exactly right :)

jay - you and Jeffrey would get on so well, that's what he says
Iza is so freakin' lovable and easy going that Siren becomes quite the contrast
but he know I love him :)

trisha - for some odd reason they both get nervous when I clean and they hide - it's the one time they don't get in the way

I just love your cats! My Cookie cat is pissed right now because the Little T is staying with his aunt for a few days and she is having to sleep on his queen sized bed alone!

Oh, drats!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

That shot of Siren yawning is beyond precious!

And Miss Isadora is stunning, Dianne. Truly a beautiful kitty!

Thank you for sharing yet, another magical kitty moment - I just love these!

Meow!

X ya's!

Yep, I can see Iza pulling her paw back in anticipation of opening the negotiations! Poor Siren!

I was looking at Tesla lying in the middle of the floor doing nothing just last night and asked him why he never did anything entertaining or amusing that I could do a blog post on and he just yawned and turned away. Hmpfh!

Sweet. Looks like Isadora has settled in and Siren has a real friend. That's wonderful! Sorry about your back.

You have an uncanny knack of being able to make cats sound even more amusing than they are naturally. That's no easy feat.

I'm trying to catch up with reading and my own posting schedule.. and not having much success in either. I loved your Courage of Nature post and I'm so sorry about the loss of your friend, Bobbie. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing her or knowing about her blog but if you and Daryl were among her friends, she certainly was a class act.

LOL! Such sweet cats - but tough negotiators!

LOL, LOL....Cats really are so wonderfully funny and such great company, even if they aren;t much "real" help. They do lighten the load with humerous behavior...lol!
