I think I have the summer flu. Or plague.
Last night there were vultures circling my home. Wonder what they know.
My head is burning hot yet the rest of me is cold. My bones ache. I am lightheaded all the time - not whimsical dizzy - no, the kind of lightheaded that makes it not a good idea to drive.
I made plain rice yesterday and was too exhausted from the task to eat it. Today I'll see if I can meet the challenge of heating it up.
With all the water I'm drinking and not eating I guess I'll lose weight. Yeah, that's the bright side.
So I'll be around in spurts between the bouts of fever and self-pity.

Nothing worse than having the flu in summer. On the other hand, it aint so great having it in the winter either. Hope you feel better soon.

Oh no - hope you feel better soon, Dianne! I'm glad to see that you're able to keep yourself hydrated even if you aren't getting anything else down your throat. Have your son get you some bananas, they're the perfect food for replenishing all the vitamins and minerals you're not getting otherwise.

Well this post is now three days past - I suppose you are better now. At least I hope so. Being sick longer than three days should simple be against the rules. By that time I am sick of being sick. So, I hope all is better and you are getting more than rice to eat. That sounded horrible - just rice? Isn't that kind of like eating air?
