... there'll be days like this my Nana said.
Would you believe I'm still sick? My sinuses and gums are infected. At least the bug I had moved on.
There's so much going on and none of it good. I am buried in forms for healthcare. Another hearing regarding disability came and went and still no decision - at least no decision is preferable to 'NO'
The stress level is overwhelming and I'm not handling it as well as I normally do. My sense of humor is off and I hate when I'm not funny.
We are seriously looking into selling the house. The strain of making the mortgage becomes worse and worse. With my diminished income and miserable credit rating I can't help but picture myself living under a bridge. Perhaps I'll meet a nice troll.
I digress ...
I'm going to try to get back to blogging and photography - I miss both and I miss all of you.
Let's end on a positive note. I'll share some photos of them that makes me happy ...
Isadora is something else. She loves to play and loves to be loved. She has many nicknames - Iza and Queen of Chaos are my favorites.
Siren is becoming a big mush. He seeks me out more and more - I guess sharing me has made him appreciate me. He's also exhausted by the Queen of Chaos.
They hide from each other a lot. As you can see - they're not very good at it.
Yet they do share space. They just won't touch each other unless it's to play or fight.
And then there's Hope ...
These shots were all taken a few days ago.
First we put on lipstick.
Then we waited for the ABC train.
We played with 'Ugly Blondie'
And read one of her favorite books.
Nothing ends a play date better than being frisked.
And on we go ...

What a huggable bundle you have there! :) All best wishes to you for a speedy recovery.
Sorry to hear you are still not well. I hope things ease up a bit for you. And that Hope is still such a cutie.
Sorry about the bad stuff ... love the pix of Hope .. and I am glad to see your two also only get together to fight/play .. right now Rose's ear needs looking at, I do believe Jack bit it .. on the up side he didnt bit the tip off tho from the looks of it he could have; I would be more upset if I didnt know SHE was the one who instigated whatever ended in her ear being so red ... he lost several LARGE whiskers so it was definitely a no win on both side ... and the biggest loser? ME! I get to pay for TWO vet visits (we're going to make sure Jack's ear mites - which were mild - are all gone, he wont let me look.)
As always, awesome photos and hope get cuter all the time!
Sorry you're not feeling well!! This weather is making everyone miserable.
PLEASE get well soon...
and thanks for updating us on the two furry ones and the most beautiful Hope
I am so sorry to hear you're fending off illness and have to deal with those bureaucrats! But your lovely kitties and Hope are such wonderful blessings. Thank you for sharing them with me.
Dianne, it would be a real shame if you had to sell your house. :(
This is so crummy. I wish I could help you somehow. It's really hard being cheerful when things are bad AND you are in pain.
PS My son is most unwell. Please continue good thoughts and prayers for him and I will for you and your whole family. ((hug))

I want to say something clever and funny to make you feel better, but can't come up with anything - and I didn't want to leave without saying anything.
And then there's hope - just concentrate on that.
I love your new profile picture.
best wishes,
Hey just found something clever to say - even though I am not the author of it - but anyways :
We can easily manage if we will only take, each day, the burden appointed to it. But the load will be too heavy for us if we carry yesterday’s burden over again today, and then add the burden of the morrow before we are required to bear it.~ John Newton
Even while feeling crappy you still manage to post the most delightful pictures and that final thought... soooo funny!
Hope things get better for you real soon!
Them that makes you happy are a delight and watching the cats at play, or not, is a tonic and time spent with the adorable Hope can do nothing but brighten your day. Feel better friend.
Oh, Dianne....I wish I was there to give ya a BIG HUG!
Well, I'm going to give you one anyway...
((((( Dianne )))))
And listen, you will not be living under a bridge; meeting a nice troll, because you can come live with me in Philly. It's only a studio, but you can have the bed and I'll sleep in my nice big bath tub. And trust me, there's plenty of trolls in this city to meet - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Great photos! And am I just being partial, or is Hope the most beautiful little girl in the whole world? OMG...what a face!
Love the shots of the kitties too! Queen of Chaos...how faaabulous!
X to you and the gang!
I'm so sorry that you're still ill. I was just commenting how so many of my best bloggy friends were taking a hiatus. However, it looks like the kitties and Hope are providing a little relief. I hope that all goes well with the "decisions" whoever is making them. I know that it's so stressful. *hugs* from me too. ;)
Ah, Dianne. I'm sending out best thoughts and wishes for a speedy recovery and a speedy resolve to your woes. I hate that you're going through these difficulties. Hugs to you, Friend.
Gorgeous images of your beuties.
So sorry you aren't feeling up to snuff yet. I think those wonderful pictures will get you there in no time if you just keep looking at them!
Dang babe. Get better RIGHT NOW!
Did that work. Sometimes I can just yell at people and things and everything starts working properly. Thought I would try it here too. ;-)
I so like that name 'Hope' and appropriate for this post. We all need hope. Sometimes it is hard to keep it front and center.
Thinking about you!
Yay, I’m so happy that you are back! Don’t worry, you’ll be better soon now that you are focusing on other things.
Your pets and your Hope look adorable and cute and colorful!
I’ve had many, many adventures in animal rescuing while you were gone as well. I had to save a puppy from a dead cat (true story) and I had to save a stray dog from a poisoning.
Being sick is a real downer and I hope when you feel better that things will look a bit brighter. There is that "not a No" thing to cling to.
Thank you for the kitty and Hope fix. Concentrate on those delightfully positive things in your life.
Praying for some relief from all your stress.
You are wrong about one thing. (and just let me be the one to point that out ;-)) ==> Your sense of humor is right there, girlfriend. I love the photo series.
A Few Things I Noticed:
- The Harry Potter blanket in the background of the first one (KNEW you were as cool as I thought you were).
- How killer cute Hope is.
- the half a cat pic - my fave
- "Ugly Blondie," even before I read the caption. (That's why god made Voodoo.)
sense of humor or not - I SOOOOOOOO want you to be better. (and not afraid to post the crappy feelings) And I really do hope you can keep posting. Silence is worrisome and however we can help virtually, please let us.
Sending you much love and hugs.
Oh My Dear...I am so sorry to read that your Health is still so "dodgy" as the English say---And the Healthcare pronlems are still not resolved...That is a real BUMMER!! And to maybe sell the house----I feel for you, my dear, I truly do. Sending GOOD thoughts, my dear.
The pictures of your dear loved ones are a delight.....Isadora and Siren---So Sweet...And Hope! Every time I see pictures of her s he is prettier and prettier which is amazing since she was Sooo pretty to begin with. And she is growing so fast!! Adorable and Sweet!
Sorry to hear you're still not feeling well Dianne - have a HUG and some Reiki. x
My word just look at Isadora's eyes - incredible!
Hope is growing prettier by the day. :)
Oh, so sorry to hear about health problems and money problems. Life is very unfair at times.
Hope is adorable!
Diane, sorry you are not feeling well. When things get tight here I pray and it works out. I hope you feel better soon. Kiss that gawjus baby girl for me!
<><
It grieves my heart to think of those bureaucratic asses wearing you down. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
You are funny even when you don't think you are! But please feel better soon.
Hope is adorable!
I'm so sorry to hear you are sick and about your other worries. It's good to know you have your lovely cats for company and for cheer and of course, Hope, who grows inbeauty every time I see her. Thinking of you...x
Oh, my! Hope is growing so fast. Kids do that. Amazing that they age so much faster than the rest of us. Kitties look happy and wonderful.
Sorry that you aren't feeling well and that the disability people are giving you the run-around. There's a lawyer who advertises here who sounds like he really cares and knows what he's doing. I always think of you and another friend when his ads come on.
You won't end up under a bridge. I've got a spare room here if it comes to that (which it won't). You will conquer.
Just scrolled down and looked at the pictures of Hope's birthday party. Boy, that girl has quite a fan club! - and a the series of photos of her first hear. Belated happy birthday to her and Happy Grandma Anniversary. No matter how bad things seem with disability and other things, you are rich beyond measure when there's Hope in your life.
We are having a wave of bad joo-joo here too. My brother suffered a stroke and is doing well but scared shitless. My step-daughter's fiance called off the wedding and told her to move out and two weeks later, no one knows why yet. And then a drama with the ex, which does not, thankfully involve me or our kids but has not the best consequences for anyone. I'd blog about it except that I don't want to hurt, expose, annoy, alienate or otherwise embarrass anyone.
I am so thinking of you and sending you good vibes to get better and try to stay strong and funny. Curse a lot, shake your fists and keep loving your beatitful girl and the kitties. That Izzy sure is purr-ty!
Let's email!
I love the way you are always able to say "And then there's Hope." That speaks volumes.
She is so beautiful.
