I thought I'd join Micro-Fiction Monday
The idea is to post a very short (140 characters or less) story that suits the picture.
It was on his third grade class trip to the art museum that Manny made his decision.
He would leave Brooklyn to become a cactus tamer.

I love the surprise twist at the end...hilarious!
He looks like they'd better watch out!
Those ornery cacti need a tamer! Very clever take today :)
Wild cacti can never be tamed. Somebody should tell Manny.
Ahh--so that's not a walking stick in his hand...it's a 'cactus trainer' stick...LOL
Loved your MM! Cheers!
Herding cacti is almost as tough as herding cats
Good for Manny, glad he knows what he wants to do. Hope someone back home warned him about all the Critters that inhabit the Desert.
Cactus tamer? Interesting... LOL!
Love it!! Very funny!
:)
hahaha - I wish him luck. Good one!
Oh, yes. I want you to do this meme. You make me laugh and I don't have to read very much! :-)
hahahaha a cactus tamer, too too funny.
Nice job with the tweet story. You didn't have to mangle the English language or anything. Too bad politicians can't follow your excellent example.
But just how exactly does one "tame" a cactus? Very nicely done!
Hey that's fun!
Brilliant!
Well done. Microfiction Monday is a texters dream.
Never learned brevity- even this comment is killing my verbose nature.
Live the dream, Manny. live the dream. Fun.
LOL! That was fun!
Wow! That's a dangerous job I hear! LMAO :-D

Hi Dianne ~~ Here is a late WELCOME TO MICRO-FICTION!!
I saw the link last week but didn't check it out. Just didn't think it would be you. (I am sorry, you know that you are on my _____ (very good) list.
I like your story. Third graders make a lot of very important life decissions don't they.
I wanted to be a garbage truck driver. I did get to have a cousin (he died last year) who was the bulldozer man at a landfill.
..
Great way to start a career! Love your idea to go back to third grade for the impetus.
