It's The Little Things

Grandma's Goulash (isn't that a great name) is hosting a new Microfiction project.

140 characters or less to describe the photo plus use the word of the week (in bold) if you wish.

As she prepared for her 90th birthday party Sadie thought that if they wanted to cater to her they should have turned the chair around.

Excellent use of both the word of the day and in 140 characters or less, and funny to boot!

Have a great week, Dianne. It's fun to be back microfictioning again, n'est-ce pas?

Of course the view is the most important part.

Love your take on the pic Dianne.

Great take on the pic of the day as always, Dianne! I'm hoping to join in again once I get moved -- just too much going on these days, but it'll be worth it!! Have a wonderful day!

Oh I'm right with you on this one. Who would turn their back on a view like that?

It does seem she would be missing out on the best part of the room. ~ Calico Contemplations

I think I like Sadie! I wouldn't put it pass her to give voice to her displeasure as well!

Perhaps they suspect that Sadie likes the view better than the company. Nicely done!

Thanks so much for being a part of Succinctly Yours.

A Very Good One, My Dear...!
Great picture, too.

At 90, the old dear ought to be able to sit where she likes and in whatever direction suits her! Nice MF!

Hey Sadie, get your butt outa' my chair.

Reb said...

Oh, I'm with Sadie on that...turn the chair and admire that lovely view!

The first thing that came to mind as I studied the pic was, turn the chair around. Look at that view! Great minds think alike?

Ha...well said! I know Sadie will turn her own chair around to face the water while she ruminates on a life well-lived...:)

Wise beyond her years ;-)

Katie is a wise woman, I'd have wanted the chair facing the other way myself!

Unknown said...

At least half way, so she can see them and the view. Great take!

Sadie may be old, be she's still got her wits about her. No sedate, boring parties for her!
