Baby Bloom

I love how sweet and hopeful a bud looks.

There is a little patch of grass between my driveway and the neighbor's. We planted a few seeds and the babies are just now starting to greet us.

Oh, Dianne....this photo is so SWEET!

I don't know why, but I immediately thought of the movie On A Clear Day, when Barbra Streisand sings, "Hey buds below...come on out and grow!"

Have a great Thursday, dear lady!

I love the contrast between the fresh, vibrant .. virginal green of the bloom against the cracked, gritty texture of the pavement.

Growing plants from seed is sooooo satisfying. It seems like such a miracle to me. :)

You just reminded me. I took pictures of the last of the blooming things in my backyard but haven't posted them yet. Maybe tomorrow.

I am always so happy to see anything that I plant actually grow as I am not the gardener at all. I hope you are feeling better. I decided to take my doctor's advice and listen to my body, but my body is a pained whiny bitch and not fun to be around. So I am resting more. sigh.

Your comment about Hope. You can easily make a book from your blog using Blog2Print. It pulls all the posts and then you can choose which ones to use. I am working on mine and I don't know why I feel that my life clock is ticking so loudly now...hugs..Michelle

Baby grasses. *squee* I rode my step-dad's riding lawn mower yesterday. I felt like a Zamboni driver at the ice rink. LOL :)

This world doesn't need us (human) to get along. In fact, we're in the way!

A seed is a marvel, no doubt about it. Lovely, hope-filled image.

Rare is the ability to focus in on a singular object and target it's beauty. Kudos! :-)

Very pretty! Flowers really make a difference in a yard, no matter how small.

I absolutely love to watch a bud open, as well as new leaves unfold.

There's just so much hope in a bud waiting to blossom, isn't there?

It's so exciting to see a plant emerge from a seed planted isn't it? :)

I'm back and busy downloading the 400+ photos we took, which I hope to start sharing sometime this week. :)
