I Am Proof of Evolution ...

... because I am devolving.

My ankle, hip, knees, back issues got so bad this week that I could only get around by walking slow and stooped over.
Ironically I got hurt while having X-Rays taken for the SSA but that's another story.

Sunday I went to the grocery and between the exit and my car I had to stop twice to deep breathe through the pain. Sometimes I get in people's way but as you can see from the shot right above their convenience is so important to me.

I'm so uncomfortable and so exhausted from dealing with it that I get confused easily - is this the ATM? a drive-thru? where the hell am I?

Well meaning people tell me water therapy would really help yet ...

... they never ask if I can swim

I looked up all my meds and discovered that bloat and weight gain - along with suicidal thoughts and dry mouth - are some of the side effects.

I also found a Yoga for Scoliosis web-site ...

One bit of advice - wear a sports bra. You too ladies.

It all just makes me want to plotz.

Oh, I LOVE the single finger salute picture, along with several of the others. Very descriptive, but I am so hoping that you will be feeling more human soon. :-)

Fabulous photos to go with your very funny lines. I sure hope working on your Z post was fun and not too painful.
I sure can understand. My new doctor told me today I need more exercise, and I tried to explain exercise hurts. He didn't look convinced.
I told him my weight is a result of medication prescribed for another medical condition, but he says I "should" have lost it by now. I hate people who use that word "should". I should hit them.

I love that you never lose your sense of humor even with all the pain!! I also love monkeys that flip people/monkeys off! I'm so sorry you are experiencing so much pain -- I am, too, but nothing like yours! I'm holding good thoughts for you, Dianne, hope things improve soon!

Oh, Dianne....I read this post laughing like hyena!

First of all, the post title is beyond HILARIOUS. However, you're not devolving. You're E-volving, because this post is proof of it. You know how to take a challenge and find the humor in it. So, in my opinion you're waaaaaaaaaaaaay more evolved than most people!

I just about fell off my chair when I got to the photo of the chimp shooting a bird.

Bwhahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

"One bit of advice - wear a sports bra. You too ladies."

Bwhahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaa!

And hey listen, I do yoga myself, therefore I can totally say that it is very beneficial for back issues.

Hope you're feeling your better soon, dear lady. And know that I will continue to share Reiki with you.

(((( Dianne )))))

X ya bunches!

I'm sorry about your pain, but your sense of humor seems intact. Maybe that's all that's keeping you going.
Hilarious post!

I'm sure that while building this post you had a reprieve from devolving.

I wish you well, and thanks for the laughs.

I do hope the yoga will help. It's good to know you can find humor in your situation and pass it along to us!

I wish I knew of anything you could get that would help you Dianne but I don't so I'm sending Reiki. x

To laugh would be mean ... so I am sending hugs wrapped in laughter which they say is the best medicine.

You always find neat pictures to go with your thoughts. That "bloat" picture is hysterical!

I see you are still doing the uphill fight with the idiots who think (mistakenly) that you are still fully capable of doing all the physical things you could do with ease oh, 20 years ago maybe? But I also see you are still employing your great sense of humor and your wit! At times, using those tools may actually be the only way to maintain a degree of sanity in a governmental world gone mad. If nothing else, it sure is great entertainment -at your expense, I know -for the troops though. Hope things improve in some way or another for you -and may it happen soon!

I feel your pain Dianne, really I do. I am glad you can still make the rest of us laugh though. Great photos to go with your post. I can relate to so many of them ;)

They injured you while getting the x-rays intentionally. It's their new plan for drumming up extra business. ;-)

Heh...I totally get where you're coming from. As the years go by I find it more mentally difficult to hit the trails for a 10-15 mile run. My left ankle is slowly giving me aches, and the proverbial "wall" is much easier to succumb to.

I am so sorry that you're hurting (worse than usual) but I'm very glad to see that you have managed to maintain your sense of humor in the midst of that pain.

Take care and be careful - my Dad died during a CAT Scan so I know that bad things are possible during medical tests.

Hang onto that sense of humor. Hope your pain lessens quickly.

LOL, this is a fun post. But that pain thing is not funny. Hope it's better today.

We've got a new kitten. Come and take a look?
