A Well Behaved Cat

No, not Siren. After whisking him off the bed multiple times I was sure he had left the room. I set down a pair of black slacks and in the time it took me to turn back toward the closet ...

No, not Isadora. Although they have beds and baskets and window perches and climbing towers my poor deprived cats need to sit and sleep and slurp on my bed. I got a new bedding set and had just put down a throw to minimize cat damage when I felt I was being watched ...

So here my friends is A Well Behaved Cat ...

Yet I wouldn't trade my guys for anyone.

They do look mischievous. Great shots, and yes, I'm sure that last cat eats less, too, but...

HAHAHAHAHAHHA! OMG, I can't tell you HOW MANY times one of my cats (Jerry) would do that right before I had to wear them to work!

But you're so right, dear lady...

"Yet I wouldn't trade my guys for anyone."

Amen! Meow!

Have a great Saturday! And are you LOVIN' this weather? I am :)

As yes, I know better than to put black pants on my bed, or when I am done with them throw them on the floor. That is a beautiful, well behaved cat, but, I'll stick to mine for now :)

Miss Cassie would never do something like that, no never...she just steals my socks..

I love your cats – they are so sweet. But a white cat on a pair of black slacks…it takes time to take off all the little hair.

Ah, your cats are too much and I love them! Your pics always make me laugh! Such an attitude they have! So brush off the new spread and give them a pat for me along with a hug for Hope! Enjoy your weekend!

Ummm ... Yeah ... The first thing I thought when I saw the title was, "It couldn't be Siren." LOL Yup, cats are attracted to whatever allows them to be noticed. :P

Hi Dianne! I know what you mean. I wouldn't trade my three fur-darlings for anything. And they know how to play me. They can get into trouble, me yell at them, but then they give me the eyes and a soft mew and all is forgiven and forgetten.

I used to have two white cats. If I were foolish enough to decide to wear anything black, I had to get dressed in the bathroom, then run out the door before either cat could catch up to me.
After our last cat, my husband's 20-year-old tabby Igor, died, we had an ironwood box made with a carved cat on top to remind us of Igor. It is a very well-behaved box.

Ha ha, our cats used to do the same. I miss them so much, but not the damage and fur!

Your cats have so much personality and your blog really brings 'em out. Sending love your way and I hope you had a nice time at the wedding. Hope is so beautiful, Dianne. Whoever did her hair for the event did a great job. :)

Yep, the statue is a perfect cat. Not much for having on the lap though.

I think you have lost the war and have now been shrouded with the curse of cats…Your post indicates disturbing paranormal activity…A particular disturbing line was, “Yet I wouldn't trade my guys for anyone”
I would seek help, and soon, may be an exorcist would be a good plan.

I have two "well behaved" cats that get to live in the house. All others live in the barn.

Oh, I am rolling! (but not on your black slacks!) And the pictures are adorable.

It's a losing battle for sure but so worth it. Your kitties are beauties. Those Isadora eyes get me.

Your cats are awesome! And my four definitely approve of feline mischief in any form. :)

We definitely don't have a well behaved cat and if she digs the door frames or the carpet much more I WILL be trading her for something! HA! Okay, not really but OOH, she really is naughty sometimes. You could reach over to pet her and then have to go find bandages.

Freshly laundered clothes, new bedding, and *anything* that clashes with their fur is an instant cat magnet!

love these .. you may recall we keep the bedroom door shut due to someone (and honestly we're not sure who/which one) peeing the bed .. I was away this weekend and came home to learn that your boyfriend left the door open and when he went in there they were both on the bed .. thankfully they were co-existing peacefully and dry ... I ventured to say 'maybe they've reached a point where they dont need to mark?' .. and then I said 'nah'

Aw you can always brush your slacks. That well-behaved cat would not be any fun at all. Plus, although rather picturesque, it isn't nearly as photogenic as either of the other two. Not nearly!

Can't stand kids much but a naughty cat who rushes around smashing stuff and shouts MEOW at 3AM is irresistible. Maybe cat lovers are from another planet. Or natural masochists.

Hahahaha. That reminds me our Zoe. She has beds and blankets, but that is not enough :) She also likes to "steal" articles of my clothing and bring it to her "nest".

When I read the title of this post I assumed that you were writing a fairy tale as I believe that well-behaved cats are mythical creatures like elves, trolls, and handsome princes!

Nice to see that there really is such a thing and that it requires no food or clean litter!

Somehow I think Tesla might be insulted though !

Haha! That made me chuckle!

Great to read you again and feel that warm beautiful presence,

Lotsa love, M

A stone cat may stay where it's put but it's not easy to cuddle:-)
