Conflicted

is how the skies seemed this afternoon. it was sunny then gray, light then dark, mostly blue was quickly replaced by layers of troubled clouds.

There is a storm headed this way.

They are beautiful clouds, captured perfectly. I like the bare tree in front of the cloud.

"Something wicked this way (your way) comes." But if it is "wicked" why does it arrive in such beauty? Great pictures.

The sky esp. in the top photo looks ominous -- but beautiful. (I'd have wanted to be inside by the fireplace -- thanks for braving the elements for the great picture!)

Hopefully that's not a metaphor for something more ominous?!

PS - Hope the kitties continue to do well :)

BEAU-TI-FUL photos, Dianne!

"There is a storm headed this way."

Yup...and we're getting here today.

Snow mixed with rain.

It's one of those days when I want to stay inside and hibernate.

LOVE it.

Enjoy your day, dear lady!

X to you and the gang!

Lovely clouds.

I'm guessing that's the storm that is currently dumping a pretty sizable amount of snow on us up here in New England?

Ah well, at least we made it to mid-January this year before Old Man Winter decided he'd been away too long!

I think that storm has been crossing the country. I didn't mean to send it your way.

A cloud tree! :-)

Very nice snaps! With the storm that's hitting California at the moment, I can't wait for another sunny day like in these pics...
