Hang On

I took this photo at a local park. A small limb from a huge tree had fallen onto a metal and wood fence.

There was something about the way this little bare tree piece clung to the rusty metal and darkened wood that touched me.

It seemed to say to me 'hang on'.

You can find many little and large messages in nature.

Nice picture. You had to tell me what that was, since it didn't reveal itself until you told me. Looks like you're having fun... :-)

We just have to learn to slow down and notice. And listen :)

Aw...how touching, Dianne.

AWESOME capture! Love the various textures within the whole image - metal, wood, and the tree in the background.

Great FOCUS!

Really neat photo, and yes, I can see the little branch saying 'hang on'! That's an appropriate message for alot of things coming in the New Year.

You can, indeed.

I think I see some personal reflection in the interpretation.

I always see things in nature and love it. I think that kind of creative interpretation is a right brain talent.

Interesting entanglement. I like the background - colorful, painterly trees and a soft blue sky.

I thought this could have been discarded grape stems, or a bit of ironworks. A tree limb? Very cool! :-)

I was thinking grape vine as well. It is a lovely photo.

Sometimes when you're branching out, you need a little help; someone to cling to!
