Frustrating but so much better than nothing.
Happy 65th Birthday to David Letterman. He is, in my humble opinion, the best (other than Carson) and always will be. He brought irreverence to late night and was the first to do on the street skits and to include the audience as part of the joke.
Newark Mayor Cory Booker helped save his neighbor from a fire. Booker arrived home Thursday evening to discover the apartment next door on fire. A member of his security detail was already getting people out of the building when Booker was told that there was one woman still inside. Booker ran in with another one of his security people, found the woman in a back room and carried her out through a kitchen that was fully engulfed. The woman suffered burns on her back and is in the hospital. Booker was treated for smoke inhalation and burns on his hand and was released late that night.
Hope had a park play date with her best friend Daniel and one of the Moms took this photo. Daniel doesn't look thrilled to be hugged but Hope is clearly happy.
We're celebrating a Big Fat Greek Easter tomorrow with a house full of people.

I agree, getting to see doctors is ridiculous. Here in Canada, we might have good medical plans, but we have a doctor shortage.

Corey Booker is a Superhero!
I love Letterman too, but I think Craig Ferguson might have surpassed him. But, I agree that Carson is the greatest of all time. Tom Snyder is in there somewhere too, although his show was different from other late night shows.

I hope you are doing better physically soon. I know you are not complaining but that you are in a lot of discomfort and pain. I appreciate your love for Hope and for everybody really. Bet you Daniel likes Hope well enough but doesn't want the camera/hugs right then. :) He does look like a happy kiddo.

I LOVE DAVE! And on top of everything you said, which I agree with, he also does some very tough interviews with Poitical People. And also asks great questions of News people he has on---like Brian Williams. Hasn't he grown through the years? He is a "must watch" for me, every week night....!

Letterman is about 4 months behind me in age. People tell me I look a little like Letterman. Then I hit them.

Yay! you get to see your Dr. I know all about waiting a month to see Dr.'s. Specialists are usually even longer. But at least the process has begun. Hope and her friend look adorable.
The Dr's waiting room pic is priceless -- I've been going along w/ Bill to a few appointments and that so could be us waiting. But at least he got in, so I will not complain.
Hard to believe David Letterman is 65! He still does pretty darn good I think and that Mayor Booker, apparently can do anything. Amazing.
