He's So Vain ...

... he probably thinks this post is about him.

Chuck Lorre has served as creator, producer or writer on many sitcoms including ...

Grace Under Fire
Roseanne
Cybill

Dharma & Greg
Two and a Half Men
The Big Bang Theory
Mike & Molly

At the end of each episode one of his Vanity Cards appears with some kind of story or observation or rant or joke. I always freeze the frame to read them.   Lorre has put together a collection of these vanity cards in a book with a title I freakin' love ...

Whatever Doesn't Kill Me Makes Me Bitter

There goes another possible title for my auto-biography.

Before I left this comment, I went over to check out his Vanity Card Archives.

That is a GREAT Title! LOL!

I never have even seen any of his Vanity Cards because, in truth, I never watched any of those shows...Shameful, I know, But there it is.
I've heard about them, of course---when Charlie S. kind of went off on everything---I will have to take a gander at the link, my dear.

Thinking of you and HOPE and those two Wonderful little Kitty Cats---and sending you all, HUGS.
((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))

I love your post for the day in spite of the fact that I rarely ever watch TV except for a little -- very little news and not even that during an election year!! I also love the title of his book!! Going to have to look for that one! Hugs to you and Hope!

I'm always too late to catch the "jokes"...so I will spend some time with Vanity Cards. He's done some good work although you can dump "The Big Bang Theory"!

Hope all goes well!

So, now I'm not sure. Are you saying that you like for Chuck or that you don't. You're post seems tantalizingly ambiguous. :) I've freeze framed a few. Funny, that he does it. :)

Cherie - I like him, I like him a lot!

How funny! Sorry he stole your title though. I watched some of those shows, but never noticed those vanity cards. Huh!

Oh, too bad he used that great title and didn't leave it for your autobiography. I know exactly what you mean.

Colour me unobservant. I've watched a few of these shows through the years and can't say that I've ever noticed. I'll look for it from now on.
