At The Lake

You can sit on our bench, just push all the fishing stuff over - the little boy tells me

I thank him and sit and watch them for a bit.

My name is Robert
Nice to meet you Robert, I'm Dianne
He points toward the older gentleman - That's Grandpa
Grandpa nods and smiles

I know a lot about fishing, Grandpa teaches me things
You're lucky. I bet he's a good teacher.
He is but we never catch anything. It's just a thing to do while we talk.
I ask what they talk about

All the important things

Oh Dianne, I just ADORE this post!

In so few words, you shared SO MUCH!

And just your photos alone say it ALL, because you can FEEL it within the images.

"All the important things."

Truly dear lady, brilliant post!

Thank you.

(((((( You )))))))

X to you, Hope, Siren, and Isadora!

I love this! I shared it with Tom. He needs to figure out how to take Isaac fishing.

What a wise little boy - and a wise grandpa, too.

It is always an educational experience to strike up a conversation with a child. Difficult to do these days with so much "stranger danger" but he must have felt safe near his grandfather.

I don't have a grandchild, but I have a young friend (four) who entertains me at the coffee shop. He's my friend and we also talk about the important things :-)
