Candidate Quiz

I always knew I agreed with Kucinich more than any other candidate. And I knew Huckabee was as far from me as possible. I think we agree that today is Wednesday.

It will rate all the candidates for you - most in common to least in common.

It's interesting. Have fun. Let us know who your most/least is.

OMG - Kucinich was the one I favor according to the poll too. The highest ranking of the "real" candidates in my scoring was John Edwards. Amazing! I didn't even know Kuchinich had anything else on his platform besides Iraq and his stance there. Learn something new every day don't we?

Hillary was my highest among the viable candidates - but my guy Obama was close behind her.

The only Republican I scored more than 10 with was Guliani - all the others were 7 or 8 and Huck the Schmuck was a 5.

Kucinich was my favorite too! Next was Hilary Clinton.

How do you get your poll results to come up on the blog? I can never seem to get these question and answer things to do that.

There was a place to get the html code Cher - there's a link for Myspace - I couldn't get it to display full screen though.

Dianne: I hate to sound like a "wet blanket" but I'm studying everyone. Of course we all know the weak candidates will waste money if they continue. I so dislike politics! But I like your site and admire your enthusiasm!!:)

Thanks for posting the poll I learned some things. I even made my husband take it too. We both had the same canadate- Chris Dodd, who is really not in the race at this time. Of practical canidates both Hillary and Obama tied. But only scored a 27 rating with me.

and your friend MH was in my bottom 2.

You don't sound like a wet blanket at all Michael. although I'm pretty certain I will vote for Barack, I'm still reading everything about everyone. I'm just speeding up a bit since my primary is Feb 5.

theresa - the thing I liked about the quiz is that you could then click on each candidate and learn about them. if the quiz got even one more person to do some homework than it was a success. my niece sent me the link from college and a lot of the first time voters there were reading about ALL the candidates.

isn't that wonderful!

Well, now I know why I feel so ambivaleant about the presidential race. Nobody scored above a 40 for me. The highest ranked viable candidate scored a 36, and the things that I disagreed on I disagree vehemently. For me this race is going to be choosing the lessor of the evils. I'm so depressed ... again. ;)

I have taken several of these online candidate quizzes and I always score the highest with Kucinich. Furthermore, it seems like when people share their results on blogs like these, they align with Kucinich as well. So why isn't he doing better? Who decided which candidates were "viable"? That is what makes me the most upset about this whole election.

For the record, I will likely vote for Obama as well because I like his message and I believe in his broader mission. Plus, the man can give a speech like none other I've heard.

"Who decided which candidates were "viable"?"

I'd like to say just money magnetbabe but $$$ doesn't seem to be helping Romney. I'm not sure of the entire answer. Media coverage has a lot to do with it as well I suppose. Kucinich is a bit odd and quirky and the camera loves his wife more than him (so ridiculous) and then my buddy Huck the Schmuck has become the darling of late night.

Hi Dianne! I'm finally getting around to commenting on your blog. I have been reading them, though, and enjoying every minute. :-)

Interesting Quiz. I've been having a hard time deciding who I'm going to vote for in this race and now I know why. . . My highest score was for Chris Dodd at 65 followed by Biden, Clinton and Obama, all at 63, and Kucinich at 62. So I guess they're all pretty much the same in my eyes as far as positions on issues. Huckabee was dead last with a score of 3. LOL!

welcome Lisa, thanks for visiting, glad you've come up for a bit of air.

Huck scored a 5 with me, I must be slipping!! But he was still last and at the end of the day that's all that matters LOL

Enjoyed the Quiz My Candidate was Dennis and my least favorite was the Huckster! I think that Dennis, because he is a bit odd has not had his ideas heard as much as the others. I would vote for him in a heartbeat if he was a viable candidate but I don't think he is in this election cycle Of course the press has a lot to do with not giving him fair coverage

Got that right minnesotablue!

Stephen Colbert did a great bit this past week about pundits and how dare we, the American people, not follow them instead of thinking for ourselves. Jon Stewart gave Zogby from the Zogby Intl. poll a hard time about the polls being wrong and done too often and fed to the media too quickly.

What a mess our media is!
