Project Black: Jack Wants To Go Home

One of my adopted blog daughters LEIGHANN gave me the idea to travel through my house, in some kind of order - although I suck at order, shooting PROJECT BLACK while giving a little tour.

I know I enjoy seeing more of where my blog friends live so I hope you do to.

I was going to leave the back yard and go directly to the front but I was interrupted by a visitor. These are shots taken on my “patio” (slab of concrete) which leads to the side door and the carport.

The furry cutie is Jack – granddog to the folks right next door. He spends his days with PopPop while his parents are at work and often comes to visit me. He won’t admit it but he really just wants to poop in my grass and leave.

After poop-fest is over he stares at the fence, giving me his signature sideways look and then wills the gate to open.

Tomorrow is Wordzzle and then on Sunday we will hopefully make it inside the house where the AC is cranking.

aww what a cute lil doggie.

Lol... Jack sounds like my neighbors pups... they come over to bark at me and use my yard!

Ha, he comes to poop in your yard. That's lovely. I really enjoy that fence. If I ever have to leave the city I want one just like it.
Can't wait to see more of your pad!

That's a pretty cute little doggie. I prefer big dogs mostly, but I don't have one cause I don't prefer to clean up after big dogs. ;-)

Nice black fence and cute little white dog. I'm looking forward to the tour. It's cool because you can also see the fence in your take one post.

Oh... and thanks for reminding me about wordzzles. This week has kind of been slipping out of my control... and I guess my antiquity is impacting my brain cells...

I think it's great that the neighbors chose a dog that color coordinates with your house! :)

thanks mountain cat!!

jc - Jack is very secure in his cuteness and believes he can do as he pleases ;)

knight - thanks kid, I love the fence - one of the best things we did. when you sit in the patio (concrete box) no one can see you!!
I'm glad you like the peeks into casa de loons - I was thinking it might be boring.

jay - what Jack lacks in poop size he more than makes up for in poop quantity lol
I'm partial to big dogs too!!

raven - the week just flew by!
I'm trying to make the transition from one shot to the next make sense - have a flow. We'll see how that goes.

leighann - they're good like that ;)

He looks too cute to be a serial poop-and-runner.

Amber Star said...

I agree with Robin about the serial poop and run. He is a cute dog and the fence is very black.

Akelamalu said...

He'd be a cute dog if he didn't s**t on your grass!

My wordzzle's all set and scheduled to post at 6 a.m tomorrow.

Dianne said...

lol robin!! - he will stay after poop-fest is over but only if he has a lap.

amber - the fence is very black, I was worried when we first put it in that it would feel dark or hot and stuffy but it's great and so easy to clean. Jack thinks he can see thru it ;)

akelamalu - doesn't bother me at all! often he'll stand there until I come with the scooper, he likes to show me where to clean
and wow - how wordzzle organized are you!!

I still love that fence. And send the poop home with Jack in a doggy bag. :)

Dianne said...

quilly - I love the way you think! that would be hilarious. But they are such incredibly good neighbors. and Jack often cheers me up while I'm working. Guess you gotta take a little poop with the sunshine ;)

Jientje said...

He poops in your garden but at least he shows you where to clean! Nice doggie!!!!

He's a cutie! A malti-poo by any chance? That's what my dog is...

What a cutie! Have a nice weekend!

Jack is so cute. It's nice that he comes to visit - whatever his reasons.
will be interested to see inside your house. I think I'd be ashamed to show you mine. Besides, it's too hot in here! My a/c really isn't cutting it. Unfortunately, I have casement windows, all but one, so no choice where to locate it.

jientje - he was raised right ;)

june - he's a malti. his
Dad is terribly allergic and says Jack is the only dog he can be around.

cris - jack is thrilled by all these compliments! happy weeeknd to you too :)

bobbie - I'm sure your home is lovely! It's the personality that matters, not the decor. Plus you can crop out all types of problems - I do! As for the AC - I'm going to have to sell an organ to pay the electric bill.

tink - ain't that the truth LOL
I had trouble getting to your site last night and this morning. I'm going to try again right now.

Thanks for today's smile. Jack reminds me of my outdoor cats that come in to sleep..they stare at the back door forever until I finally go and let them out.

Hi, Dianne

I've been really enjoying your awesome photos. Sorry I've not commented much but family is taking priority over blogging right now. I hope you're enjoying your summer.

Love,
Pagan

P.S. Jack is a cutie!

He looks like a funny little fellow, lol and your grass must be special !

KG said...

Well don't they always say, "the grass is greener on the other side of the fence?" Or, if you let him come over too much, yellower!?

Jeanne Damoff said...

"poop-fest"! You have a great sense of humor. :)

I love the contrast here.. White dog, black fence, poop! LOL

Hi Dianne! Jack is a cutie and it is nice that he visits you. Poop-fest? This sounds like a job for Dr. Poop-away.(There is a guy in the neighbor here who started up this business. He came into the office one afternoon and we had a lot of fun with him about this. He went running out to his car and came back in wearing a doctor's coat and all. Furniture salemans by day. Poop-away master by night.) Okay enough of that.

Looking forward to Wordzzle tomorrow. Will Finola continue or is she in hiding? Lisa

Jack looks tasty. I do so love a plate of hot Canine Parmigian. Cheers Di!!

Dianne said...

thanks annette!! :)

carletta - I like the first shot too, it shows his face so nicely. thanks :)
the 2nd shot lacks composition, I just used it to lead into the side door so that the next PB will follow inside that side of the house.

tammy - and he knows he's cute!! :)

dusty - Jack will stare down anything and anyone. My favorite is when he does his looking out of the corners of his eyes thing - creepy yet adorable.

pagan - so sweet of you to stop by. I know you have a lot going on. thanks and hugs.

gattina - funny little fellow he is. he's bow legged in the back and sometimes looks like he's drunk ;)

tranny - I think Jack wants to mark the world - one yard at a time but my place is as far as he's allowed to go on his own :)

jeanne - thanks lol - Jack somehow turns it into a fest. running around his uh contribution and barking while I clean it up.

mishelle - Jack loves to his photo taken and that is his favorite spot. I have tons of shot of him :)

suzanne - thanks, he is. sometimes I don't want him to leave.

lisa - there's a business here with a similar name! I can't tell if they clean up or treat the grounds to keep animals away. I would hate the latter.
and Finola continues on!! I'm going to post in a minute. thanks for the enthusiasm!

matt-man - Jack heard that and a bag of flaming poop is on its way to Bagwine ;)

Odat said...

How cute is Jack!!!! He's a nice contrast to your black fence!!! hehe.

thanks odat - I often wish I could keep him :)

He's very cute, but the poop and run thing would make me a little cranky...oh wait, I'm always cranky, he he.

mary - when the guys were putting in the fence I kept walking around saying - look how slimming the fence is! ;)

spaghettipie - thank you. I enjoy your blog very much.

What a cute dog! He looks like my Charlie! And the fence is quite black! How good of him to pose right in front of it.
