Wow! They are making amazing progress. I love the captions... I wonder if her being deaf makes her more defensive. I continue to think they are going to end up best of friends. They have come so far in such a short time.
Oh - and I love that green antique chest Siren sits on. Very nice.
raven - I think the deafness does make her more defensive. That's actually what started me wondering. Jeffrey said she just always seemed so surprised lol At first he thought it was adorable, as did I, but then it didn't seem right. So I did all the things I could think of to test her hearing and she never once responded. Thanks about the chest - it's a jewelery armoire that I found online.
ralph - lol - Mia has pretty much claimed my bed. Siren has claimed what was to be my guest room/library/music/whatever room One more cat and I'm pretty much out of rooms ;)
etk - you definitely don't want to snuggle both at the same time lol I've been between them a few times and it's a scary place to be
thanks fermicat! high praise from the queen of catblogging!! do you think you could get 'll' to visit lol
sparkling red - thanks, I wish they were snugglers but they each have so many intimacy issues!! figures - just like the men I choose.
tink - thanks!! picture stories are fun. Mia's eyes were so infected when I got her. It's great to see how pretty they are now.
ron - thank you!! The furrier one is Mia, first long hair I've ever had. she sheds in giant balls of fur, it's like living in the western plains. and of course she hates being brushed. cats so know how to push your buttons ;)
tt - thanks lady! they are an awesome duo. hope you had a great birthday!
hilary - they definitely read the cat manual and adhere to all cat policies :)
bobbie - he can sit up there for hours! there's also a dresser on the other side of the room with a hatbox on it, he'll fall asleep on that. Poor Siren - the only way to get down is to jump on the bed and sometimes Mia will block him and hold him hostage!
Loved the pics and the captions but my fav was the one of Mia with the caption "He's such a jerk!" That was really so appropriate a caption for the look on her face! Big time!
Hi Dianne! Look at the progress. I think Siren wants to be friends. It will just take Mia a bit more time, but she'll get there and they will be inseparable. She has beautiful eyes and I love Siren's nose with the black at the top. Lisa
pagan - awwww - I'm sorry you miss your cats - hugs. they are heartbreakers - Mia with her deaf endlessly surprised look and Siren - exhausting himself with his (as Ralph put it) "trust but verify" syndrome.
patti - we have tons of cat-itude round here ;) I found the armoire online, it's a jewelry chest!! I went a little earring crazy two years ago and needed a place to put them. I started out with a small chest and then fell in love with this one.
I love these pictures! Mia's fur makes her look like a stuffed animal, it made me giggle a little. They seem to be making lots of progress, even if it's just breathing the same air for now, they'll get to a place where they will either tolerate each other or just coexist.

Does that bed belong to you...or that adorable pair of felines? I wonder if the answer is obvious...

Perhaps, not at the same time though (the snuggling).
Ha ha! Love it! Catblogging is always welcome. Especially creative catblogging like this.
Aw, they are so cute! I want to snuggle them both.
I love picture stories! ;)
The gray one has some amazing eyes!
OMG Dianne...they are both such PRECIOUS kitties!!
The furrier one (I'm not exactly sure which one that is) reminds me so much of a cat I once had, named Ashley.
As you know...I just idolize cats!
To me...they RULE!
I'm so glad Mia found a home with you. She's a lucky lady!
Thanks for sharing the slide show, Dianne...thoroughly enjoyed it. I could just sit here all night and watch it over and over!
I adore your furbabies!! Siren's nose is so cute....Mia looks like she could kick some serious a$$ if she wanted to. (lol) She's beautiful!
They're incredibly cute and full of trouble.. just as cats should be. Adorable felines. :)
I love the perch on the chest.

They are both wonderful. I'm glad they are learning to tolerate one another. One day you'll find them snuggled up together...!!

Your slideshow of those beautiful kitties is delightful.

Bear((( )))
teach - thanks! it just becomes so frustrating when things don't work the first 100 times!! lol
I think I'm, as usual, doing too much at once.
jeni - it is isn't it!? thanks
Mia usually looks like that when Siren is involved.
bear - I'm so glad you liked the Mi/Si show! thank you and I'll definitely visit again and again :)

Lisa - there has been remarkable progress, thanks!!
Those are great kitty cats meow!
The grey picture rocks!
They act like an old married couple! "MUST you breathe?" LOLOLOL!
roger - thanks!! meow!
anndi - they do! whenever Mia ventures into the hall while Siren is there she gets such a look of disgust on her face.
I also loved the slide show!
thanks minnesotablue! - those two need to have their own show ;)
The photo-story is fantastic. Each photo moved the story along nicely.
Tails of Two Kitties. :)
Awww. They are both sooooo cute. They will surely come to be friends someday. I just know it.
Wonder where the cats get their attitude from;)
quilly - thanks!! I have fun putting these slideshows together and I'm always amazed that anyone else enjoys them!!
lisa - could you call Mia and tell her that ;)
quiet rage - I have NO idea ;)
Heartbreakers, both of them! I miss my cats...
pagan - awwww - I'm sorry you miss your cats - hugs.
they are heartbreakers - Mia with her deaf endlessly surprised look and Siren - exhausting himself with his (as Ralph put it) "trust but verify" syndrome.
Awwwwww...I just love this kitty slideshow! Nothing like cat-itude!
I also admired that green armoire. Very nice.
So, where is your clutter? lol.
Please don't stop by my house unannounced. The maid has been on vacation, ya know?
Have a great Friday ~
patti - we have tons of cat-itude round here ;)
