After weeks of unsuccessfully trying to apprehend the arsonist who was systematically destroying all the DAR portraits at the Birch Trees Historical Society Mount Olympus police finally got a break when a bystander was able to identify the get away car by the sound it made. “That car needs a new muffler” she told the sergeant as they surrounded the noise making Nova in a nearby parking lot.

My Ten Word …

“I swear I’m suffering from apoplexy and will need the immediate attention of a doctor” the photographer screeched as he flitted about the studio like a hummingbird that had just ingested hot mustard. “I asked you all to create a casual atmosphere and what do I get!? I get something that looks like a white trash slumber party.”

The lead assistant hurried to break down the set. “We’ll use the pool instead” she told the others. “He had a dream last night that everything about this shoot rested within a parallelogram. Well the pool will be the parallelogram.” “But it’s not a parallelogram” one of the interns said. All heads snapped in her direction and she was met with deep dark glaring stares. She shrunk back whispering “I suppose we could rope off the shallow end of the pool and create one.”

International supermodel Inane Anorexia General and her football hero husband Roid Brigadier General arrived just in time to see the layout finalized. The photographer and his subjects were thrilled. “This will be the best cover Greed Gazette has ever had” they chirped in unison.
