Hi everyone! Siren here, I'm back for my second post.
The person, my Mom, has lost her mind. Something about a baby. I'm going to meet my tiny baby sister soon, that's all I keep hearing. And this new addition is fur less and only has 2 paws!! what's up with that?
You can read about that down below. And I just know Mom will have even more about that later
So - come close. I have to tell you something.
I do not like laps. Never have. Never will. And I'm not much for rubbing and touching either. I mean really - what's with the hand.
I'm reasonable. Look how close I sit.
I think the person needs to be more grateful.
Visit our host Bozo at PET PRIDE for more stories of animals and the people they put up with. Oh alright - the people they love. Geez!
Update from Siren: She's sitting there all teary and doofy. Jeffrey just sent her a pic from his cell phone. It's posted on that other blog where photos of me usually go.

I feel the same way about people sometimes. lol
Well Siren...you just gotta go through this and the new baby. She's going to be the light of Nana's life for a very long time. But I bet she has enough for you as well. Aloha
Lol that is so like a cat!
*whew* it's too hot to get much closer! Don't blame ya!
LOL...Cats love you on their own terms....
Have to agree with the others, cats do indeed love you on their own terms and we could all learn a lesson on independence! You tell 'em, Siren! You put up a great post!
Oh my! What big green eyes you have! *mesmerized* You and my Sheena would have been peas in a pod, except for the fact, of course, that peas in a pod are far too close together. But she had much the same attitude about PDA. :)
Siren is so beautiful... and has so much personality. He's like Tara Grace about the lap thing. They're so darn huggable too... frustrating. Off to see new baby pictures. You're a Nana!
Yeah its all a bit much for a cat sometimes, but just wait awhile and you too will be allowed some play time with the furless 2 pawed one!
Oh - a lovely cat with a sense of humour! Too funny!
This is a wonderful post, Dianne. You captured that 'catitude', that's for sure.
That's okay that you don't like touch. I'm sure Mia will enjoy all the extra cuddles from your mom.
Be good to your little sis, she's coming home soon!
Well, congrats...that grandbaby looks just perfect! Siren's gonna have to live with a fur-less, two-pawed creature and like it!
Best wishes to all!
I think Siren you wont have to worry about being asked to sit on a lap for a long time .. that lap is gonna be full of baby name to be revealed eventually...
hey siren! love your attitude! suits all of us at Pet Pride
great seeing you!

Hey Siren - it's okay to be a little diffident. None of us like being handled when we don't feel like it.
My Caesar feels exactly the same! Fun post!
Pretty kitty.
My sked has kept me from visiting...but I need to tell you how happy I am Nana...She is BE-U-TI-FUL
CONGRATS!!!!!
Siren, people are so cute when they're "kittens" - you're going to fall in love, I guarantee it.
Hey, Siren! You get to meet a blurpy?? Watch out for those 2-pawed creatures! They make a lot of noise!!!
Poor Siren. He seems confused, affectionate but not always ready to show it. He is a good friend, and I'm sure he will accept your hand, maybe that is...A beauty of a feline!
Dear Siren: Do you make an exception for allergic people? Cause I know this guy who's allergic to cats, and the most aloof kitties all want to sit in his lap.
Please tell Dianne: CONGRATULATIONS!! Your grandaughter is a lovely little sweetheart!
Well, Siren, I'm quite needy myself really! Can you tell me why the two cats who live with me ignore me when i'm desperate for a cuddle and only decide to sit on me or ask for strokes when I'm busy doing something else or about to go out??
Such a beautiful and Cool Cat! :D)
