Nana Would Be So Proud

The wonderful irrepressible irreverent joy that is Ron of ’VENT … a series of takes’ has interviewed me.

I hope you’ll take a moment to go over and check it out.

Ron asked some interesting, thought provoking questions. I hope I made him proud with my responses.

I adore Ron. He is exceptionally funny and has a wickedly quick mind. He manages to combine snark and sarcasm with kindness and grace. Not an easy feat.

When Ron leaves you a comment you know you’ve been commented on. He is one of the most genuine and exuberant people I have ever known.

Thanks Ron for making me feel like a star.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to welcome a new blogger to this crazy series of tubes we call the Internet.

My friend Lisa started a blog called ’TWO MILE HIGH’. Her photography is stunning and her knowledge of and dedication to nature is admirable.

She may not post that often at times but whenever she does it will be worth seeing. Right now she has a photo posted that celebrates autumn in a blaze of glorious color.

So stop by and welcome Lisa to the fold.

That was a great interview Dianne! We agree on everything it seems; from organized religion, to the angry white men, to Sarah Palin, to Obama. People need to step back from the polarity of religion and find a spirituality that will unite, not divide. The US has gone fucking crazy, as evidenced by our prison population, acts of random violence, and idiocy. The 24-hour news networks are so much to blame, spewing vitriolic hatred for anyone that’s different in any way from them. Somewhere along the line the majority of people turned into lemmings following each other off the edge of a steep cliff.

I’m going to have to learn this ‘blogging without obligation’ thing of yours. I love commenting and responding to my own comments (it’s funnier and funnier than the blog itself in many cases) but sometimes if I don’t feel like it, it would be nice to just say screw it. It probably doesn’t help that I have an obsessive nature.

That was an awesome interview, and a very good idea!! Great job by all!

Hey Dianne, I commented over on Rons site but it's not there. So WHAT I got to do it all over again?

The only surprise I got from that great interview was that you don't feel as tough as you used too. I get it, I'm over 50 too.

Great interview. We are in agreement about many things. And I concur about blogging without obligation. I don't do tags, memes or awards either, unless I have something anyway that just fits. I really like to read personal postings, to learn about other people and how they think or what they do. I do think comments are important, especially if I want anyone to read my postings, which I do.
Love ya', cussing and all.
