Forget American Idol - Watch This

Check out 12 year old Greyson Michael Chance (even his name is cool) singing Lady Gaga’s hit song Paparazzi.

This young man plays the piano like a virtuoso and has an amazing voice. He also exudes confidence and has a killer smile.

You can see the video on his Youtube channel HERE

Or

View it through THIS ARTICLE which is where I found him.

He’ll be appearing on Ellen’s show tomorrow (Thursday).

When you watch the video check out the girl in the last row. She has long blonde hair and is 3 girls in from the left, right in front of a map.

She is so clearly falling in love. I enjoyed watching her almost as much as I enjoyed watching Greyson.

I hope this kid doesn't get 'Disney-fied' or thrown into some horrid arena like American Idol.

Wow. That's some serious talent.

No kidding... Disney is long term career suicide IMO. Now off to watch the video!

That was pretty good. I believe that his road has already been chosen for him. Now all he has to do is walk it :)
BTW: What a cute post by Hope below!
Hugs,
I.

He's okay I guess.

I don't want to praise him too much so he ends up getting a big head or anything. ;-)

You're right, that girl had some serious googly eyes for him. And dang, that kid's got some pipes!

He's great, and the blonde is really into him, but what about the other girls. How could they just sit there expressionless?!

Thank you so much for sharing this, Dianne!

Freaking AMAZING!

For someone as young as he is, he has the most powerful voice.

Prediction: This kid is gonna go far!

You GO, Greyson!

All I can think about is how his parents' hearts must swell to hear him. What a talent. I always record Ellen, so I'll see him tomorrow. Thanks for this. :)

I saw this on the MSN homepage. After Matt-Man’s post, anything with Justin Bieber in the title will catch my eye. I had to watch it again for the girl and …aww!

He's like a young Alicia Keys.

he sounds like a talented individual. I will have to check him out later as I'm visiting on my lunch break at work which is the first chance I've had to visit in a while! I have been so busy and have been working through lunches but I ma all caught up now.

Loved the pics of Hope in the last post and had a giggle at your view of the bumper stickers (thanks!). I also love Pink Floyd. I saw them live at Wembley Stadium in the late eighties and they are still the best live band I have ever seen!

Hope all is well with you :)

I refuse to watch a video involving anyone named Greyson. It's a rule I have always lived by. Cheers Di!!

This was on the news last nite, seems he was the only boy in the music class to step up to do a solo ... good on him!

Yesterday I saw the article about this amazing young man. I must say that he is extremely talented and that I think we will see much more of him in the future.

How does he know? Truly amazing!

I didn't see what state he is from. I saw the town of Edmond and we have an Edmond in Oklahoma. Do you know if he is an Oklahoma boy? He is indeed awesome and I hope his eventual voice change won't hurt his music career. How about that poor teacher at the end only getting to feature her extra large buttocks? Bless her heart.

We should be painstaking and discriminating in all the advice we give. We should be especially aware in giving advice that we would not think of following ourselves. Most of all, we ought to refrain from giving recommendation which we don't imitate when it damages those who depreciate us at our word.

To be a noble benign being is to from a amiable of openness to the in the seventh heaven, an cleverness to group unsure things beyond your own control, that can lead you to be shattered in very extreme circumstances on which you were not to blame. That says something very outstanding relating to the prerequisite of the ethical life: that it is based on a conviction in the uncertain and on a willingness to be exposed; it's based on being more like a spy than like a treasure, something somewhat dainty, but whose very precise handsomeness is inseparable from that fragility.
