We All Need Somebody Sometime

Something unimaginably tragic happened to a fellow blogger on July 19th. She lost two of her young children in a house fire.

If you click on the hands photo at the top of my sidebar you'll be taken to Dana's blog. Dana has set up a Pay Pal system for donations for the family.

Another blogger NITEBYRD is donating 100% of her ETSY SHOP sales (except shipping costs) to the family. Just stop/shop by there between now and August 25th. She has some fun and affordable objects.

I don't know the blogger - Boo is her blog name - who had this heartbreaking thing happen to her but I do know the people working to help her. I have no doubts that the money will get to Boo and I have no doubts that Dana and Nitebyrd and so many others who are posting about this will continue to hold Boo and her family in their hearts.

Thank You

This was kind of you to post. Although I don’t know the people involved the scale of tragedy is incomprehensible.

They are in my thoughts and prayers…

This is awful. Some Dear friends of ours lost their parents a year and a half ago to a house fire.

The fireman came out to tell the son that he saw the Dad but it was too hot and he was unable to get to him. It was SO tragic. The fireman's helmet was bubbling and melted from the heat.

They had over 100 firemen there but it was just too out of control... My heart goes out to her and her family's loss. And, the loss of a child/ren... It's saddening.
