Empty Nest Romance

I have a ton of photos and videos and stories for you about Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Be prepared to be bored titillated to tears all week long.

But for now it's Micro-Fiction Monday and this is my less than 140 characters contribution for this week's picture

Sadie and Sam are older now and the kids have flown the coop. They finally have time for each other in Pigeon Hollow, Florida.

PS - When I wrote this post it had just started snowing. It's almost midnight now and there is over a foot of snow on the ground. The wind is so loud that the cats are hiding.

We're having a Blizzard. OY!

wow! it must look beautiful outside. I live in Southern California I think today's highs were in the mid 70's degrees.

Loved your spin on the picture, very funny stuff.

Our "snow" in SC came and went...like Gone with the Wind. :)

I hope the birds will be happy with each other.

Mine's up but I'm not sure folk get my subtle sense of humour. ;)

How adorable they are. I also hope they are happy together now that the kids have flown the coop. :-)

The Golden Years, Perfect Place to retire, Pigeon Hollow. Wonderful take on the picture. Hope the blizzard wasn't as too bad, and you had a wonderful Christmas. All the best for 2011

Sam and Sadie deserve to fly the coop themselves! Great one, Dianne.

A foot of snow?! Unthinkable. (We're just soggy in Oregon)

Happy New Year.

"Pigeon Hollow, Florida."

Bwhahahahahahaha! OMG, that was FLAWLESS!

Brilliant as usual, Dianne!

I can't wait to see the videos, pics, and hear your stories!

OMG...can you BELIEVE all the snow we got yesterday? I was jumping up and down like a little kid at work. Walking home last night, I thought the wind was going to pick me up and toss me into sky!

Today is gorgeous, isn't it?

Stay warm, dear lady!

X to you and the gang!

I hope you've shoveled out by now -- or shot off to Florida to join the pigeons!

I do believe you folks in New Jersey may have gotten the worst of this blizzard so I sure hope you never lost power and are dug out a bit by now. We didn't get anywhere near the amount of accumulation they were warning us about but boy was it windy and still is! Would definitely blow those two pigeons right back on down to Florida if they tired to venture up this way!

I think Sadie and Sam should be thanking their lucky stars to be sitchiated in Florida, because, holy snowflakes, Batman, New Jersey got hit hard! Might I offer THESE?

Stay snuggled (and Happy New Year!),

Okay -I will give in, and say that was pretty gosh darn good. But just so you know I am not going to make a habit of it. Also lets be clear - it did not make me get all teary eyed. BTW - I got good news and bad news. The bad news is, this snow storm will bring with it a nasty sickness that will befall on you. The good news is, you will recover around January 7th. You didn't know I could fortell the future did you?
Hmmmm..... I am so embarassed.
