Cookies and Crapola - Week 2

Let's see if I can keep up a regular post with a theme. I enjoyed sharing the bits and pieces of last week's first Cookies and Crapola post.

We'll start with a giant stinkin' heap of crapola. The Trump boys ...

These overly entitled miserable sacks of nothing but Daddy's money went on a killing spree while on an African safari. They slaughtered an elephant, a leopard, a buffalo and an alligator just to name a few of their kills. Then they posed with the dead animals for their "trophy shots". You can read about it  here  but I warn you, there are photos.

Here's a mix - for some it's cookies and for others it's crapola.

Where every single college team in the nation plays for a spot in a bracket that people walk around with close to their hearts. It goes on forever and ever and ever more. I like basketball, I even played basketball in school, but this is just too huge for me.

I missed my second tai chi chih class on Wednesday. It was nearly 80 degrees out and the classroom was not air conditioned and the windows don't open. I walked in, felt the heat and turned right around and left.

Outside I had this titillating conversation with the building manager.

"It's hot as hell in there"
"The air isn't turned on" he replies.
"I noticed that, hence the hot as hellness"
"Air comes on in May, it's March" he tells me smugly.
"Yes, but it's 80 degrees today"
He counters with "Yes, but it's March"

I walked away to my air conditioned car.

As always my cookie is Hope.

We played dress up in her room. She has a trunk full of costumes.

Have a good weekend everybody.

I'll pass on looking at the Trumps' boys "trophies". Jackasses. I thought people were beyond that sort of things these days but I guess when you really need to feel like a big man you still go big game hunting and slaughter innocent animals for no other reason than because you can.

I don't get the whole March Madness thing myself and I played basketball in school myself. I fail to see how it gets so many people all hepped up but to each their own I guess. At least they don't kill the teams that lose and then pose with their spoils.

March? May? If it's 80 effin' degrees who cares what the calendar says?? Now that's some March Madness right there!

And of course you saved the best for last - thank goodness you've got Hope!

Lots of crap but there is always Hope. Reminded me of Pandora's Box. All the ills escaped but Hope was left. I am so grateful for your granddaughter and her wise ways...I can tell how wise she is just by looking at that expression on her face. Happy Week-end.

I sse the Trump boys have similar hair as daddy. If it works why break it???
I see Hope doing her dress up = naturally her out fit would have wings. She is an angel after all.

Those Trump boys should be hunted and shot!

Playing dress-up with your granddaughter is the best way to spend time. :)

It's very hard not to hate boys like them. I'm amazed they were allowed to shoot these animals. It would be lovely to be able to shoot them just in the legs or something to teach them a lesson but not actually kill them. :D I bet they'd cry like babies too.

HA! Yup...I would have done the exact same thing, Dianne!!! In fact, I walked into a department store a few days ago (when it was 80 degrees) and it felt like a sauna bath. They actually had the HEAT on. Needless to say, I walked right back out.

LOVE the photo of Hope!!!! Those butterfly wings are faaaaaabulous!

Have a wonderful weekend, dear lady.

X to you and the gang!

I think hunting any animal for sport is sickening but I would be willing to make an exception to go Trump hunting. Them and their ilk are about the only animals I can think of that would be better off dead.

There couldn't be a sweeter cookie than Hope. I'll pass one the hunters. It's too despicable.

The little Trumps have been fairly good about staying out of the media. They should try even harder.

Wouldn't you like to see their heads mounted on a wall somewhere?

OK -- that last comment just above this one says it all. I would love that. Jackasses is a mild term for those guys and their whole family.

Give Hope a hug and tell her I'd love to borrow that butterfly costume.

Purposely nothin' to say about basketball. Neutral. Don't have to think about it. (The other person in this metal cottage watches baseball and football occasionally. This is the off season yay!)

I'm not much of a college basketball fan, but I do love the NCAA Tournament.

The NBA rocks though.

I read your post, declined to even look at the spoils of the rich kids' idea of fun, sashayed past the whole idea of basketball, and settled on feasting my eyes on that beautiful child. Hope lives up to her name, every day. Thanks for ending with her.

I'm shocked! I did look at the Trumpsters. I had no idea people still went on killing safaris. I thought people only went with cameras. That is truly disgusting, crapola for sure!
I'm not into the March madness either. With no NBA team in Seattle anymore, my attention has fully turned to MLS soccer. Our March Madness is the opening of soccer season.
That Hope is some cookie!

Rich bastards. Getting their kicks killing magnificent creatures.

One of the best gifts I gave my grandkids was the play clothes. I scoured the resale shops.

Yup those Trump boys are sure crapola. Someone needs to slaughter them. That is so sad about them killing those animals. Spoiled rich kids should not be allowed to go on Safaris. It is just sickening.

I have to confess; I'm a sucker for the March Madness!

I can understand hunting for food, but trophy hunting is something I don't understand. And what was up with that crocodile? What could it have done to deserve to be hanged from the highest branch? ;-)

Hunting for fun? Well let's hope that the next time these Real Men get hoisted on a big set of buffalo horns. I won't say what I think of them, but it rhymes with astards.

my grandmother would have liked that moron, er, manager ... if I was hot in March she'd have asked how would I manage in August .. my answer was I'd be hotter .. but there'd be AC!
