Cookies and Crapola - Madness for Week 8

Madness - as in losing my mind, wondering what the hell it is I'm thinking most of the time
Although if I wonder maybe I'm not mad, just odd

Stress can do strange things to a person

I'm tired

If my ship ever does come in I'll be stuck at the RR crossing on my way to the airport

Every time I get in the car I want to run away

Fly away

Swim away

I'm buried beneath worry over the cats - and money, and family, and healthcare, and ...

There's so much to think about I get foggy

Ready to hang myself

Or at least wave a white flag

As I go around and around looking for the bright spots

So that's my story at the moment

Siren is doing well, he has responded to his meds and resumed his normal behavior

Isadora is going back to the vet today for more tests. She is not eating or drinking. She has not responded to her meds. She hides and when I manage to get her out she cries and shrinks away.

I'm sorry there's so much more crapola than cookies. Part of the bright spot is your incredible creativity. You sure know how to connect some random photos and put a post together.

I wish I could help. I hate that you're struggling and I hate that Isadora is not doing well. I'll keep you and your sweet kitty in my best thoughts.

Hugs to you.

Oh Dianne,
I'm so sorry that life is just difficult right now...I do not like moments like this and it does't help if your babies are not doing well. Prayers for all of you...

Nice finish with the 'around the bright spots'.

Stress will most definitely do all of those things to a body and more. I've been wanting to run away an awful lot myself lately so if you decide to go, let me know if you want a companion. I draw the line at hanging myself though!

Oh dear..that isn't good and you feel like such a meanie taking them in to the vet, but what can you do. I think on some level they understand that we love them and are trying to do the best for them..

Methinks you could do with a day off! We can never throw in the towel, but getting away from your worries every once in a while does wonders. Here's hoping you find a free moment to unwind!

Praying for your dear Isadora...!
As I say ALL the time, "LIFE IS HARD AND THEN IT GETS HARDER"....I'm sorry you are in such a terrible state, my dear--But, it is completely understandable. What to do?
Eat some chocolate. It can be very soothing for stress....!

It's good to see that your sense of humor, as shown by your photo choices, is still in tact. Sending good thoughts for you and your kitties.

Oh dear I'm sorry you are down, but you have a great way of expressing your blues. I know that feeling of getting in a car and just driving away. I feel like that all the time.

It was when I realized how much I didn't fit with this world that I realized that I was from another planet. ;) Hope that Isadora is feeling better soon.

Great photos and story. Not great to hear that Isadora is not feeling well still. I hope the tests show something easy to fix.

I've certainly had those days/thoughts ... too many, it seems lately.
The photos go so perfectly with how you feel, but you're still connected, still sharing, and I know you'll get through the crappola.
Glad Siren has had improvement, hoping Isadora will see some better days very soon.

This reminds me of the song sung by George Jones: "Everytime I make my mark, someone paints the wall!"
