Conversations with Hope

Hope, did you take chocolate off the counter?
I don't remember
OK, in case you did, please take off your jacket
What?
And don't eat it on the couch
Nana, come here, I made a mistake

Nana, Look! I'm making hair for you

You look so pretty Hope
Thank You, I'm going to a party
I love your shoes
Are you going to take a picture?
I'll get my camera
Hurry Nana, this won't last

Let's take your juice upstairs and get ready for bed
I'm not tired
It's late, we've been playing all day
I want to play more

And On We Go

Can Hope get anymore beautiful?

That last photo is BEYOND stunning.

And please tell Hope that when Uncle Ronnie finally meets her, he'll bring her a bar of chocolate because it's one of his favorite sweets!

X and hugs to you and Hope!

She is damn adorable! I love how she said she couldn't remember taking the chocolate. :D

Btw. Thanks for your last comment on my blog. :) I am a born again Christian too, (for over 30 years) but I'd like to believe that modern Christianity has come along way in the last few years, especially on subjects like homosexuality. :)

Love your pictures as well as how you tie them into stories about Hope. She sure is one sweet little princess.
The getting ready for bedtime -which for Maya and Kurt is supposed to be 8 p.m. (occasionally, they are still up at 8:30 but that's a bit on the rare side.) Inevitably though, when I usually begin about 7:45 telling them it's time to get their jammies on, Kurt will almost always respond by saying "No yet." But to get the full impact of those two words from him, say it in a bit of a sing-song voice and the tone must rise a bit in the middle! Cracks me up every time.

Your little Hope is such an adorable child – what a treasure. I am sorry about your doctor’s appointments. Not all doctors are bad though. Mine is from India and he is kind, thoughtful and takes his time talking to me. But I went through at least 5 doctors before I found him. My daughter and her husbands are doctors, her a neurologist for epilepsy, and him an anesthesiologist. My daughter listens and cares for her patients (many children); she works at least 12 hour days at the hospital and often more, including week-ends because she spends so much time to make sure they are OK. But I have had terrible stuck-up doctors in my life – some who treated me like I was an imbecile – many of these types are in the field just for the money. I hope your cats are fine. My little cat Mitsou passed away last month. I can’t talk about it yet.

You give me hope as does our great-grandson. She's a delight and I think she is very proud of her grandmother! May love and light be with her all the days of her life!

Hope is becoming so wise. The last one is a photo she will love so much one day and love you so much for everything you do and everything you stand for. :-)

Sending much love to you and your family.

I love little angels...especially the ones with a bit of fire in them. That last pic--I could faint from the cuteness.

"Hurry Nana, this won't last"... indeed, indeed. And what a wonderful idea, saving those little snippets of things she says. How I wish I had done that.
