Those Cats

that's what my granddaughter Hope calls Siren and Isadora. as in "what are those cats doing?" and "those cats are fighting" and "those cats won't play with me"

At the moment we are in one of those magical time periods where both Siren and Isadora are doing well. I've been waiting for this since I last posted about them back on April 26.

I'm going to let those cats fill you in

You home for good Iza?

So, she's the sick one and I have to be locked up too?
we put a screen door on my extra room so those cats could be contained without feeling isolated

You're like a freakin' shadow, I'm never sure where you are

Holy catnip! I don't want to see that.

If you let me out I swear I won't hide for 3 days. Really I won't.

Iza? You asleep? I'm up here if you need anything

A few days later the saga continues

You have that I'm going to scoop you up look on your face Mom

Of course I'm not trying to escape

Aw hell Siren, she's taking you. I won't mention that your carrier is smaller
Oh, and your towel is pink

Of course I feel imprisoned. Doc said I have to come in every 3 weeks.

Stop sulking Siren, you're home and I'm home and there's roast chicken

And on those cats go

"both Siren and Isadora are doing well."

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay! I've been thinking about them often and wondering how they were doing. You know, you can really see in these photos how much they've improved. They both look strong and healthy!

Great shots, Dianne. Especially love the one through the screen!

Much X to you and your precious kitties!

Meow!

Ah, what would we do without our animals!!! Glad Siren and Isadora are both doing well! Sam is getting old, but most of the time he won't admit it and tries to behave like a puppy! I wonder if he gets that from me????
Hugs to hope, enjoy your day, Dianne!

So glad to hear about and from those cats :)
Our Zoe is fine, too. Sam has a cancerous tumor on his front leg though. Hope we found it on time - will be removed soon.
Hugs from Ohio,
I.

I love the report on the kitties. I've been thinking of you and your doctor's appt. I hope that things went well ... or at least better than the last one. Love you!

so good to know they are both doing well ... i know how worrying it can be when they are not .. i am intrigued .. a screendoor .. something i have wanted to use to replace our bedroom door so the AC in summer and heat in winter isnt blocked because we keep the door shut to keep 'those cats' out .. we had marking/territory issues with our pillows as the marked territory .. several new pillows later ... so is the screen door a standard size? where did you get it?

Those cats are the cutest ever and this is a very clever post that I thoroughly enjoyed even though we haven't had feline company in many years.

Cute narrative. I often wonder what cats really think. :)

Those cats are so cute! They speak quite well too. I am pleased that they are fine now and hope they will stay that way.

Roast chicken? My cat would be all over me for that!

Love the commentary! No place like home! And roast chicken!

Glad the cats are getting back to something like themselves - it must have been quiet when they were both feeling sorry for themselves. A transAtlantic scratch behind the ear for the pair of them x

I am glad they are doing well..it is so hard to have to deal with chronic stuff as taking them in makes you feel so mean.....well I do anyway...hugs..

Glad to hear that "those cats" are doing better - about time, huh? Let's hope this magical period lasts for a good long time and that "those cats" get a reprieve - as does Mom!
