Butterfly

Back in June I  posted  a photo of one of the art butterflys that live all around Keyport, NJ.

A couple of weeks ago I found another one at the marina.

Is this a hunt? How many are there around your area?

I love these so much. Maybe I told you on the last post -- we've seen Ducks, cows, horses in different cities done as art projects, but I would rather have butterflies any day. Love it.

Lovely. Are these ever vandalized?

I've seen towns do various things from pigs, to cows, to horses, but I do love the butterfly idea! So pretty!

Very interesting indeed. Is it sponsored by anyone, or is it a random thing that the artistic community does? (I must have missed that initial post you mentioned.)

How sweet! Reminds me of the art guitar campaign Cleveland (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame) has all over the town :)
Hugs from Ohio,

That's cool! That's actually sponsored art, not guerilla art? Awesome.

Very colorful and a delight to the eye. Is this part of some particular project. I like it!

Re your question on The Villages: I don't think Sonny's Bar-b-q delivers to New Jersey, but you could call and ask. You must not have Sonny's up thataway!

The town's idea to use butterflies for this art project was brilliant. They are so unique!
