I'm not all that worried about the snow amounts. If I lived further north or east I would be.
I am worried about the damn wind gusts - hurricane force at the coast they say.
Here in NJ our coast can't take much more.
This is still sitting out there
Although the storm surge is not predicted to be anywhere near as high as Sandy's there is so little left to protect us.
This morning Hope asked if we had enough gasoline for the generator. Even the little ones have become pros.
Then again there are those who wait until the last minute. I went shopping Wednesday for all things storm related. I passed Home Depot last night and it looked like the circus was in town.
What do people do with their shovels from year to year? How could so many need so much?
I try to have empathy for the utility workers but if power goes out and stays out I may need to beat the crap out of someone.

You might think about moving to higher ground and let the coast come to you. I'm about 55 miles inland on the coastal plain and I figure I'll have beachfront property before it's all over with.

Amen! And I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that you don't go through what you did during the last storm.
We keep getting mixed reports here. One minute they say we're going to get it bad, then the next they say not so bad. Right now it's just rainy and windy. But not too bad.

Well you sound prepared anyway. I hope it isn't as bad as they are predicting. Here in the UK we are having unusually cold, windy weather, and as we live on the top of the hill, things fall off our roof almost daily. Just last week a tile fell off the roof onto my jeep bonnet. Great.
