Where The Hell Have I Been?

I've been looking for an apartment while painters and contractors have been crawling all over this house to prep it for selling.

I found a place and will be officially living there as of April 11.
Until then I exist in this uncomfortable world of boxes and bubble wrap; anxious cats and noisy workers and endless phone calls turning stuff off, turning it on and wondering why I had it to begin with,

The development I am moving into is pretty. It's an H shaped, 2 story apartment complex surrounded by trees on 2 sides, a small development of one family homes in front and a country club behind.

The groups of units look like this

I have a 2nd floor apt. with a balcony. When I told Hope we could play Romeo and Juliet she said "It's Gnomeo Nana, Gnomeo"

My son set up the new TV and got stuff ready for Verizon to come run lines.

This is the kitchen

This is at the bedroom window, looking out toward the hall that leads to the bathroom at the left and to the front door straight ahead.

I hope to have many happy things to share with you once I'm settled.

Dianne, thank you for posting because you have in my thoughts a lot lately, wondering how you were doing.

You must be psychic. I was thinking of you this morning and about to nudge you to "check in."

Good luck in the new digs. It looks like a lovely set up.

Hugs. :)

I'm sure all your readers and bloggy friends have been asking that exact question in your title!

The new digs look wonderful...an exciting if stressful time.

PS: Are you sure that good- looking guy knows what he's doing setting things up for Verizon (ha ha kidding...I'm sure he could do the whole thing himself if only it were legal ;>)!)

Oh, Dianne!! I am SO happy for you!! This is perfect!! I have been concerned!! You've made my morning to be sure! Moving in itself is never fun, but the end results are -- or always have been for me -- worth the effort!! Take care and show us more pics once you're moved in!! Holding good thoughts for you as always!!

Congratulations on the new place - I hope you are so happy there!

I'm sorry I haven't checked in for a few months, but I have a great excuse, I had a beautiful baby girl at the end of November, she is certainly keeping me busy! Her name is Aisling (pronounced Ashling) and she sends you a big hug! xx

Well, this IS great news. I love the apartment, it's just perfect, it seems, for everyone to have good times together. I see you every day on Facebook, usually with your "good morning" picture. Makes me happy to see what's going on in the rest of the day! :-)

Ooh a balcony! Lovely. Enjoy the new digs. So glad you haven't fallen down the rabbit hole but merely wandered into Shakespeare ;-)

Ooooh! Does it have that new apartment smell? Looks like a great unit! Now, when's the party, and what time should we get there? ;-)

Well, Of course I want to know the story behind the move, but for now I'm happy knowing you are alive and well and up for the big move ahead. Best wishes!

Your new apartment is lovely. I hope you enjoy it, and your independence.

top floor? Great idea. You don't have to worry about those downstairs neighbors tap dancing over your head.I haven't heard anything about your making arrangements for the kitties, so I'm presuming they're coming with you. Soon you'll be in, and you'll be able to get settled. Congratulations!

changes are coming around for me too. I think we'll be moving our shop this summer, abandoning the city. it will be nice for you to have your own place, especially with the balcony.

Wow...we are both in the process of the same moving experience! My house [where I lived for 25 years] is being prepared for sale in spring and I moved into a new apartment building. I look forward to the light at the end of the tunnel...that is moving! Hang in there!

There are certainly quite a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a nice point to convey up. I offer the thoughts above as normal inspiration but clearly there are questions just like the one you convey up where crucial factor shall be working in sincere good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged round things like that, however I'm positive that your job is clearly recognized as a fair game.
