Wordzzle Time

This weeks words:

swashbuckler, heads-up, dry martini, recovery, jungle gym, whiskers, bathing suit, spade, circular reasoning, abrasive
butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth, stagnation, chart, star crossed lovers, apricot brandy

Spike Swashbuckler and Apricot Brandy were playing star crossed lovers in the film ‘Seaside Jungle Gym’ – a 2009 take on the classic 50s beach blanket movies.

Apricot was a bit testy on set. She was in recovery from her addiction to melba toast and spent hours in her trailer sipping a dry martini and rifling through gourmet magazines. On a really bad day she ate the olive.

Spike had his own problems. His career was in another stagnation phase and he and his lover Sassoon Spade were caught up in the toxic circular reasoning that was at the heart of their dysfunctional relationship. Sassoon hated that Spike was playing yet another empty headed toy boy. Their arguments always started with Sassoon complaining that Spike’s whiskers were abrasive to his skin and quickly escalated to his threatening to tell all to TMZ.

Spike’s thoughts were interrupted by the assistant director shouting “Heads-up everybody, Miss Butter Wouldn’t Melt In Her Mouth is off the charts again, she just got a good look at her ass in a bathing suit.”

And a little extra something that came to me for the mini words:

Saturday night was the kick-off for the Senior Class Stagnation Festival in Off The Charts Crazy Town. The King and Queen of the Star Crossed Lovers Dance were chugging apricot brandy as their Moms proudly presented all the treats they had baked with ‘Butter Wouldn’t Melt In Her Mouth’ margarine.

Go by RAVEN’S for all sorts of great stories.

I think the first story worked out very well.

I am almost too hungover to do much more than marvel at the names in this story and sit open mouthed (though not drooling) in contemplation of a Melba Toast Addiction.

There is something very sick and twisted going on in your head girl. I enjoy it greatly when you let it out.

The names you are giving to your characters are killing me :o) I need that olive from the martini right about now.

With names like Spike Swashbuckler and Apricot Brandy, I initially thought you were going to be doing a porn version of the Wordzzle! Bow-chica-wow-wow!

Like the others have already commented, great names. I've got to look at the words for next week and get off my duff.

:D Thoroughly enjoyed your word usage and the cast of characters!

I was a Wordzzle virgin up until yesterday, when I joined in on the fun for the 1st time.

Went beyond a short paragraph a bit, but I love the circle of writing, reading, feedback and creativity!

:) @Linda for the funny x-rated version comment.

I enjoyed reading your stories. I liked the names, too. They were similar to the types of names some movie stars actually use, so they were very believable.
