STELLA !!!!!!

is the first thing I thought when this photo uploaded.

Hope as Stanley Kowalski.

A friend said it looked like an accident scene. Something terrible had happened to 'baby'. I hate that doll. What kind of a baby has a platinum bouffant, blue eyeshadow and fake lashes? She looks like a tiny tot beauty contestant.

Have a Happy Weekend All

Not being a movie buff I had to go to Wikipedia to look up Stanley. Found out it wasn't flat Stanley. Found out about Stella. Came back and figured out the significance of the picture.

This was a lot of work for such a short post.

"A friend said it looked like an accident scene."

Bwhahahahahahahaha!!!!

OMG, it DOES!

" I hate that doll. What kind of a baby has a platinum bouffant, blue eyeshadow and fake lashes? She looks like a tiny tot beauty contestant."

OMG woman, you are hysterical!

STELLA!!!

However, I think Hope is so much cuter than Stanley.

Have a wonderful weekend!

X ya's!

You made me laugh, as usual, but Mike made me laugh more. "What a lot of work for such a short post!" Ha!
Obviously the doll was not a gift from you. But who?!?!

ellen - I know!! and I try to combat it

sylvia - I didn't see it when I took the shot since she moves so fast so when I opened it really made me laugh
hugs from all of us

mike - you are the king of the deadpan one-liner!! I love ya :)
thanks for the effort

ron - it really does!! you can see her dropping to her knees and shreiking "why"!!! ;)

betty - those kiddie paegants are horrid. at least with the adults it's their choice although they're obnoxious as well
no wonder Trump owns them all - he's such a pig

linda r - mike is a funny guy
the doll just appeared one day - I don't know where it came from, I wish it would leave ;)

I also had to use google to find out who Stella and Stanley are. Now I know, and I am sure that Hope is no Stanley Kowalski! But the whole thing has been fun, and a great picture, to boot.

So funny -- and all the comments (serious and funny) are quite true!
(You always get great comments and are one of the few blogs where I make sure to read them all.)

Could you disappear the doll? Nope,'spose not.

Love this. The look on her face does indeed scream STELLA!!.

I once had a neighbour who had a huge (extremely obese) cat named Stella and I always cracked up when I'd hear him calling her to come home. Sadly, she met her demise at the jaws of a coyote.

Can't blame you for despising that doll. It's just wrong.

The only thing that could have made this better is if the poor baby doll had just been run over a power rider and Hope was holding broken pieces of her whilst yelling "Stella!"

Nah, she's not sweaty enough. ;)

I always gave dolls away - and kept the furry animals!

The universal language of distress,"STELLA!" You are so funny.

I so agree with you on the doll.

Oh that Hope, she is a picture worth countless words, a cuddle and a kiss

I love the idea of hearing you yell Stella! That kid is so freakin cute even if she did cause the ugly doll to have an accident. Smart smart kid.

Was the hooker doll found dead after a trick decided she was not worth the money?

Just askin'

So LOVE the name Stella!! (And those PJs.)

Wow, that doll is really bad! Excellent portrayal of Stanley though. You'll have to teach her to say 'Stella' when she's on her knees like that ;)

LOL, LOL...If she had only had her hands up at her ears.....lol!

That doll is pretty scary, isn't it? Why do they make so many dolls that look like Hookers or Harlots?? What is the message there, I wonder.....OY!

Doesn't Hope have a cousin or a neighbor friend, preferably of the male species, to pull the head off that doll? That will bring balance to the world. I was a terrible brother.

I don’t know how I missed this, I check you every other day.

This is my favorite picture ever! It seems to fully capture her spirit and playfulness. This is THE shot!

Hope is adorable as always but that doll is creepy looking.

Oh, I am so glad I read this post!
I soooo agree with you. :)

My little sister ruined all my dolls by soaking them in the bathtub. Hmmm. Maybe you and Hope could give 'baby' a bath.

Oh, you are so fantastically funny and all-around wonderful!!!! "I hate that dog..."

I should tell you the story of the "Portuguese doll" I brought to school in second grade and with which my teacher was wholeheartedly disappointed in! Haaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaa! She was like that blonde bibble-head doll of Hope's, only in living flesh!

Happy Halloween, my dearest!
