Smile

Hope's first visit to the dentist.

She was brave and interested in all the equipment. Everything was explained to her and she got to try things out for comfort.

Daddy took this pic; he's very proud.

When I saw her she asked me to smell her mouth and asked if it was "clean and refreshing". She also checked the teeth on all her toys; coming to the alarming conclusion that most toys do not have teeth.

Oh - check out the bruised knees! Hope is quite pleased with them and says they are there because she is "reckless"

How wonderful that her first visit to the dentist was so positive! Hope is a very "reckless" child, all right! The very best kind. Thank you for sharing her with me, I think I am in love... :-)

It's great to introduce children to the dentist when they are really young. I was terrified of going to the dentist when I was a child due to not going until I was actually in pain. I'm still frightened now but I do go. :(

Well done to Hope. :)

Well, I had that experience yesterday also. Two hours in the dentist's chair. All in all I have to have about $4000. worth of work done. Because I neglected my teeth. Tell Hope I am proud of her and she should go all the time.

Wow that's the first time I've ever seen anyone smile at the dentists. But then Hope isn't just anyone.

Sounds like quite the young lady; smart as all get-out and afraid of nothing? Not bad qualities for this time and place!

I'm pretty sure that I have absolutely NO pictures of any of my kids smiling at the dentist ... well, unless you count when Amanda had her wisdom teeth out and was totally doped up. THAT I've got on video somewhere to pull out as ammunition when I need it!

Reckless Hope ... love it! It's very close to Reckless Abandonment but more hopeful!

Such an adorable child. Nice that she is getting the basics at such a young age. You can be sure she will take good care of her teeth that way.
