Hope's first visit to the dentist.
She was brave and interested in all the equipment. Everything was explained to her and she got to try things out for comfort.
Daddy took this pic; he's very proud.
When I saw her she asked me to smell her mouth and asked if it was "clean and refreshing". She also checked the teeth on all her toys; coming to the alarming conclusion that most toys do not have teeth.
Oh - check out the bruised knees! Hope is quite pleased with them and says they are there because she is "reckless"

How wonderful that her first visit to the dentist was so positive! Hope is a very "reckless" child, all right! The very best kind. Thank you for sharing her with me, I think I am in love... :-)
I love this, particularly Hope's vocabulary:-)
It's great to introduce children to the dentist when they are really young. I was terrified of going to the dentist when I was a child due to not going until I was actually in pain. I'm still frightened now but I do go. :(
Well done to Hope. :)
Well, I had that experience yesterday also. Two hours in the dentist's chair. All in all I have to have about $4000. worth of work done. Because I neglected my teeth. Tell Hope I am proud of her and she should go all the time.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay Hope!!!!!
You GO, girl!
What an adorable picture!
And I think it's so wonderful that her first experience was a positive one. Hey, maybe she'll become a DENTIST!
This CRACKED me up...
" She also checked the teeth on all her toys; coming to the alarming conclusion that most toys do not have teeth."
Bwhahahahahahaha!
Please tell Hope that Uncle Ronnie LOVES her!

Have a great weekend, dear lady!
X to you and Hope!
what a cool kid.
I love it! And I love your "reckless" Hope! Glad she had a positive experience for her first dental trip! Fun pics that her Dad caught!! Hugs to Hope and you both!!
I love Hope's curiosity and her "reckless" attitude. Glad she had a positive experience at the dentist.
What shines through Hope is how very loved she is!
Wow that's the first time I've ever seen anyone smile at the dentists. But then Hope isn't just anyone.
Love the bruised knees. :D
Good for her! I am glad she is so curious and a little reckless :)
How good that HOPE'S first visit to the Dentist was so positive...! (She seems so young to be going to the Dentist...Hmmmm---they must start much earlier now....!)
What a sweet knowing smile on her adorable face...Hope is something else!
Lovely post! Good for Hope (and for parents and grandma who are raisin' her right!)
I don't care how big she is getting. She is still SO CUTE.
I love everything about this post!!
Hope springs eternal!
Hope made me smile..
Getting to be such a big girl! :)
My, how she lights up your life every day! xxoo
Little Miss Reckless.. gotta love that. Angel face, she is.
What wonderful reckless knees she has - a lovely attitude to life!
Sounds like quite the young lady; smart as all get-out and afraid of nothing? Not bad qualities for this time and place!
Adorable as ever!
<><
That's awesome! Looks like Hope had a great time at the dentist, and emerged with a clean bill of health! Great pic!
hey, that's a great first visit!
Hahaha! Adoooorable, as always :) She's a brave one, too!
Hugs from Ohio,
I.
she is an amazing child ... you are one truly lucky Nana! xox
Wow! What a positive little girl. Attributes from her Nana - no doubt. Cheers!!
I'm pretty sure that I have absolutely NO pictures of any of my kids smiling at the dentist ... well, unless you count when Amanda had her wisdom teeth out and was totally doped up. THAT I've got on video somewhere to pull out as ammunition when I need it!
Reckless Hope ... love it! It's very close to Reckless Abandonment but more hopeful!
So cute and she was so brave!
Such an adorable child. Nice that she is getting the basics at such a young age. You can be sure she will take good care of her teeth that way.
