Barbara and Bowzer

By now I'm sure you've seen the video of ...

Barbara Garcia

Finding her best friend Bowzer alive and well in the debris of their home

CBS This Morning will be checking in with them tomorrow morning.

Check out this article on how you can help the animals of Moore, OK - Petside article

If you're attention deprived you can access the donation page for the OK Humane Society here - Donation Page

During Hurricane Sandy I had the cat carriers and food and meds all laid out just in case the evacuation zone extended to my home. The idea of struggling with all that during a storm was daunting so I really empathize with Barbara and all those who do their best to protect their loved furry ones.

Yes, I saw the video. It was very touching. Thank you, Dianne, for caring so much.

I saw it and teared up when the little dog came out from under he piles. I wondered what it must have been thinking. It really pointed out the plight of animals during times like this, I had Molly on my lap when our sirens went off the other night. She hates storms.

Yes, I did see the video, Dianne. And when Barbara spotted her dog under the debris, I bawled.

Much thanks for sharing this information, dear lady.

You're a sweetheart!

X to you, Hope, Siren, and Isadora!

It just warmed my heart to see that little dog crawl out of the ruins. Silver lining in a horrible storm.

I think I saw the video on TV just yesterday. Bowser was stuck but otherwise OK.

I'm glad that there's always someone to think about the creatures. You're a love, Dianne.

How can any of us see that and not imagine it was our own beloved pet. It hurts my heart to think if she had not found Bowzer.

I loved that video. And, I loved it when that silly reporter asked,"Have you realized what has happened, yet?" and that feisty lady scowled and said, "Of course, I realize what happened!" Priceless.

I saw it and just loved it, as if it had been planned that way. How wonderful of you to be ready to help our furry friends! I'm not surprised, you are such a good person. If you don't mind me noticing. :-)

That's awesome that Bowser was found safe!

But it's odd that, yet again, you mention something in your current post that I'm going to mention in my post tomorrow...and I hadn't read your post until after I wrote mine. That's weird & creepy, I tell ya!

Seeing Gladys and Bowser reunited was like a ray of light during a miserable time.

It made me smile more than Wolf and the only Atheist in Oklahoma.

Thanks for sharing the donation site, too!
